Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Here we are being told that things will be different here on the earth. Not only will the heavens or ruling power be changed but those being ruled over will be changed also, and the former way things are here on earth now will not longer be remembered.
Isa 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Here is a description of how Jerusalem will be. There will be rejoicing and everyone will be filled with joy.
Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Here we are presented with another aspect of the kingdom. There will no longer be weeping and sorrow but rather joy.
Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an hundred years old shall be accursed.
Besides good health, those living in the kingdom will experience long lifetimes. We see this in someone dying at a hundred will be considered a child. Those who persist in sin without repentance will not likely be able to reach on hundred.
Isa 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
This is telling us that they will be able to enjoy the work of their own hands.
Isa 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
This is telling us that unlike now when some try to enjoy the labors of others rather than doing the work themselves, in the Kingdom this will not happen and we will all enjoy the results of our labors.
Isa 65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they [are] the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
When it says they will not labor in vain, it means that the efforts they do will be enjoyed by the ones doing it.
Isa 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
This is telling us that our prayers will be answered, even before we can say them, and while we are still speaking God will answer. There will be no delay in meeting our requests.
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
The carnivorous animals will become like the lamb and eat straw or grass. This will be the source of peace in the animal world.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Here we are told that the animals will be at peace with each other and safe enough to be lead by a little child.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
This is telling us that the carnivorous animals will change their diet so that they eat only vegetation. This will make them into peaceful animals around humans.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
Even a young baby has nothing to fear around a cobra or a viper. This is in contrast to today when this would be very dangerous.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
There will be no violence near the temple or the rest of the world for that matter. The world shall be covered with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea means that everyone will know Him.
Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Here we find another characteristic of the Millennial Kingdom; He will heal all of your diseases. Unlike now, there will be no disease to worry about and no hospitals as He will heal you.
Isa 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
Here we are being told that in the kingdom, the deaf will hear, the blind will see.
Isa 32:3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
This is telling us that there will no longer be any need for eyeglasses, as everyone will be able to see clearly and also hear clearly, thus no need for hearing aids.
Isa 32:4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
Here we read that during the kingdom, everyone will have understanding and knowledge. There will no longer be anyone who has a speech problem and everyone will speak plainly.
Isa 33:24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein [shall be] forgiven [their] iniquity.
Here we read that in the kingdom, there swill be no need for doctors, nurses or hospitals for Christ will heal all of our infirmities and we will never feel sick again. Best of all He will forgive their iniquity.
Isa 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
This is telling us that during the Kingdom, there will be healthy bodies on everyone. No more will any be weak or feeble or have trouble walking.
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Here we read that in the Kingdom, there will no longer be blindness or deafness.
Isa 35:6 Then shall the lame [man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
Here we read in the kingdom, there will no longer be anyone with lameness nor any who cannot speak.
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
Here read that in the Kingdom everyone will be healthy and able to run long distances without being weary or able to walk for a long time without feeling faint.
Deut 6:2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
This promise that God made to Israel through Moses will hold true for the Kingdom. Fear the Lord your God, keep all of His commandments and your lives will be prolonged.
Ecc 8:13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong [his] days, [which are] as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
This is a reminder that the wicked cannot prolong their lives. Their life will be short as a shadow if they do not fear before God. Lack of fear will result in disobedience. Those who persist in being wicked will not live a long life nor will they be granted eternal life at the Judgment, which will occur at the end of the 1000 years at the time of the second resurrection and the second death mentioned in Rev 20.
