baked macaroni casserole
Steps
In
a medium pan, bring water to boil and place macaroni. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Drained and kept warm.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon margarine
and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan.
Put chopped onion, saute until just golden. Add meat and seasoning (chicken
stock, pepper, nutmeg powder, salt & sugar). Stir.
Gradually
add milk and flour, stirring over small heat.
Remove from heat and add cooked macaroni to the mixture. Add 1 beaten egg,
stir.
Grease 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Place macaroni mixture, pour over 1 beaten
egg and top with shredded cheese.
Preheat oven to 350° F. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cheese is golden.
