Steps

Pancake MixtureCombine egg, flour, sugar, salt in a bowl. Slowly stir in warm water. Stir mixture until blended and not lumpy.

 

Grease skillet. Heat prepared skillet over medium heat until hot. Adjust heat to maintain temperature.

Pancake CookedPour batter onto skillet. Cook for about 1 minute, covered.

Wait until bubbles appear. Turn; continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden.

Whole PancakeSpread up side with hazelnut jam or grated cheese while hot.

Fold pancake. Slice as desired.

  • 1½ cup self-raising flour
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup warm water
  • Hazelnut jam/grated cheese as desired
