Show Barn

Our show barn has 25 stalls in it. This houses most of our horses when they are not in their pastures. Aisles are 12 feet wide with rubber matting on the floors. Stalls are 15 feet by 15 feet. Bars on all stalls prevent horses from fighting with horses in other stalls and in the aisle. A fire extinguisher is located at each end of the barn along with a cordless phone to be used for emergency situations only.

Breeding Barn

Our breeding barn consists of 10 stalls. Aisles are 15 feet wide with rubber matting on the floors. This is where our stallions are stabled, mares stay to foal, and where horses up to age 2 are kept. By the foaling stalls is the breeding shed, with breeding stalls and a phantom. We have the equipment for artificial insemenation, shipped semen, and frozen semen. Our lab is also located here. The stalls are 16 feet by 16 feet and are disinfected daily for foaling mares. Bars on all stalls prevent horses from fighting with horses in other stalls and in the aisle. A fire extinguisher is located at each end of the barn along with a phone to be used for emergency situations only. Mares and their babies stay in pastures before and after foaling, but are stalled for the labor process.

Pastures

We use 4 plank wooden fences. They are very safe with no protruding nails. Corners in fencing is rounded to reduce risk of injury. All pastures have a shed with hay inside that horses may enter to escape harsh elements such as rain, hail, wind, or bright sun, which you can see to the left. The pastures are fertilized twice a year. They are drug three times a year also to encourage grass growth.

Arenas

We have 2 indoor arenas and 3 outdoor arenas. Our indoor arenas are well built and sturdy. They have air conditioning for the warm summers as well as heat for those chilly winter days. The arenas have a total of 8 windows each along the two long sides. On a short end of one of the arenas, there is extensive mirrors built onto the wall. The doors to enter are along the end of one of the long walls. The entrances are large enough to fit a horse with a rider astride with no problem. One of the outdoor arenas is standard dressage size. There are no fences surrounding it, only a low chain. It is used only for dressage practicing. The other two are fenced in for show jumping, hunter, driving, and western practicing. All 3 are well lit for even night riding.

We also have 3 roundpens and 1 hotwalker.
