We begin on Christmas Eve, with me Marcie and my roommate Regina. We live on the top floor of an upperclassman building on Virgina Tech. Posters litter our walls. Some of them are of Regina's favorite bands. Illegal Christmas lights are strung upon our ceiling. All of our electrical appliances are plugged into extension cords, which are also illegal. Outside a tent city has sprung up. An underclassman parking lot is closing down and students need spaces. Inside we're burning up because we have no A.C.
