I've always had an idea to do this costume in the back of my head, and it all hinged on whether I could find the leopard-print knee-high boots. Well, I was shopping with my Mom one day and randomly found the perfect pair on clearance for $15. It was fate! ;)

There are eight principle characters in RENT, including Mark, Roger, and Collins, who I've already created female versions of their costumes, and drama queen Maureen. Mimi is an exotic dancer who falls for Roger. This costume is worn during "Out Tonight," where Mimi begs Roger to finally leave his apartment and go out with her.

Unlike my other RENT costumes, this one will require a bit of sewing, as I don't forsee finding the correct electric blue stretch pants. :D However, some pieces, like the knee pads, were easier to purchase.
