Aureo P. Castro is an old hand at technical writing and editing, having worked for several years as editorial assistant for a management consultancy firm. He also had the opportunity of working as project assistant in a government research agency working as system documentation specialist for mainframe-based information systems development projects. Abroad in Saudi Arabia, he worked as automated data processing instructor handling users training for a military IBM mainframe data center.

His most recent job involved coordinating the development and implementation of a computer networking project for a high-level policy-making government agency. In this position, he spearheaded the development of the organization's web site and documentation library.

Very recently, he completed a professional diploma course on information technology from NIIT. While taking this course, he was able to write some technical articles which are now posted in this web site.

He is currently looking for work opportunities in technical writing or training on information technology.
