INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNICATION

LeAP! aims to raise societal awareness on the various issues and concerns faced by lesbians. Human rights, sexuality, political participation, health and other gender-related issues and concerns are the priority areas of LeAP! To achieve this, LeAP! spearheads various education and information activities, e.g. fora, seminars, discussions, skills building training and workshops for lesbians, their families and other change agents in society.

Resource Center – LeAP! houses lesbian books, magazines, journals, articles, video tapes, research papers and other forms of materials in printed and video form to serve the information needs of lesbians and other interested parties. Moreso, LeAP!’s strength is its members who are credible resource parsons as attested by their numerous invitations, guestings and interviews in TV shows, universities and government agencies and other LGBT discussions.

Publications and Productions – "LeAP! Service", LeAP!’s quarterly newsletter, showcases the creative expressions of lesbians through literature and artistic works. Each issue includes personal essays, commentaries, pictures and poetry that focus on lesbian concerns. LeAP! will soon launch its Website and its lesbian sexual health information kit.
