Using the Internet, the library, our text books, and Texas Weekly, we were able to learn so much about Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston.  We took our information about Stephen F. Austin and made a timeline in Excel.  We also had Sam Houston come visit our school through a program called www.texasheroes.net.  We then were able to write e-mails to Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston and ask some questions.  The men portraying our heroes were and are very knowledgeable about their character.  By clicking on their name, you will be able to see our work, and some pictures of our visit with Sam Houston.
