| In the SCA, I live in the Barony of the Bridge, which is in the East Kingdom. Usually, you can either find me at events flirting with the fighters (gee...there's a stretch), or hanging out in the kitchen. You might even find me following my laurel and Baroness around, doing my lady-in-waiting (and waiting...and waiting...) duties. Speaking of that, I'm apprenticed to Elspeth Keyfe, County Neddingham, Baroness Bridge for cooking and sewing. Not to mention I'm her protege for service as well. Yep, I got the double whammy. That's right folks, she's two...two...two peers in one! (Technically, she's a triple peer because she's a Countess too, but who's counting?) So what does all that mean? Basically she shares her knowledge of those arts with me, and steers me down the correct path to being a peer. The great thing about it is her lord (and husband mundanely), Baron Steffan ap Kennydd, is also a pelican so I get his insight as well. |
