| Connemara - Town of Clifden Thursday, 4/22/04 | ||||||||||||||||
| We all agreed, the best meal in we had in Ireland was at Mitchell's Restaurant in Clifden. They had great fish chowder and seafood! Clifden is a noted center for artists, artisans and traditional music and one of the several Western areas of Ireland where many inhabits still speak Gaelic. |

| Typical cluster of road signs found in Irish towns. There is no North, South. East or West; you have to figure that out for yourself. It was a challenge to find the sign you were looking for and still remember to drive on the left side of the road. Note that the road signs are in both Gaelic and English. |
