   L.D.College of Engineering

L.D. College of Engineering is reputed as one of the better technical schools in India  and the best in the state of Gujarat.  Founded in 1948 and affiliated to the       Gujarat university. It turns out more than 450 fine engineers every year. It has a reputation for producing top   notch engineers. Its strike rate in terms of students pursuing studies after          completion of their Bachelor's degrees is quite envious. Every year about 50 of      them  make to the shores of U.S.A while about the same number go in for higher education in India in either the IIT's or      the IIM's and other Management        Institutes of repute.
 
 

            Placement Record

The campus has been attracting companies allover the country for the past few years. The placement record has been the best in the state software & hardware companies taking the raw   engineering talent of the Generation Next.      Electronics and Communication                          department

The Electronics and Communication department of L.D. College of Engg is      one of the best departments of Gujarat University. It  has received latest equipments, computers and software      under the project of "IMPACT" and hence is capable of providing technical services by way of testing, consultancy, renting of equipments to industry, conduction of technical courses in the field of computer and electronics. It has also received a       help for latest equipments for the DSP         lab from the Texas Instrumentations.

                      The L. D. College  Of Engineering is affiliated with GUJARAT   UNIVERSITY which is among the top grade universities in India. 
                            As per the rules of Gujarat University, the undergraduate curriculum for B. E. degree program is divided in 8 semesters. The first two semesters are combined and treated as yearly pattern where Gujarat University holds one examination at the end of two semesters and college holds three sessional and one block examination. After the first year, the University Exams are taken every six months.
