Determination
Deep within the Horutoto Ruins a young tarutaru practices black magic within a dark central chamber.  The room is dimly lit by three magic seals centered in a triangular shape in front of a huge granite door.  These seals each represent a particular mage class vowing that the Door of the 3 Magi leading to Toraimarai Canal will never open again.

Blkmgflare stood on the seal of black magic and stared at the Door of the Three Magi.  Suddenly, breaking him from his fixation he remembers the time.  Training with Dr. Shantotto his mentor and teacher was suppose to be over an hour ago.  He could already hear her voice scolding him.  Blkmgflare your always lataru!  How are u supposy woosy gonna avengie wengie your parents if you dont learn every wevry thing I know!  Quickly casting Escape Blkmgflare headed for Dr. Shantottos lab.

It was hard for Blkmgflare to tell Dr. Shantotto that he felt ready with his magic to go to Toraimarai Canal and find out exactly what happened to his parents on that fateful day.  Blkmgflares parents were archaeologists studying the magical properties of the Toraimarai Canal and the ruins for the benefit of all of Vanadiel.  But on that day of the great war Blkmgflare stood holding Dr. Shantottos hand as he watched his parents disappear behind the Door of the Three Magi never to be seen again.  Not a day has gone by that Blkmgflare hasnt gone to the door hoping to find some clue surrounding it as to why his parents went to Toraimarai?  Why did they leave him alone?  He was determined to find the answers.

A New Direction

After training with Shantotto Blkmgflare decided to go check out the Auction House for the latest spells.  When he arrived at the Auction House he saw an advertisement posted on the window that caught his eye.:

Ancient Magic spell scrolls excavated from the ruins of a foreign land.  Made      available only to adventurers enlisted in the protection of all three nations.  Seeking
talented mages.  Interested? Inquire at the Bonecrafting guild.

Blkmgflare knew this was his chance he had been waiting for!  As he began to chant Warp to instantly transport him home a rush of excitement enveloped him.  He was going to become an adventurer, learn all there was about black magic, and find that which his parents died searching for.

Rummaging through a small closet in his room Blkmgflare pulled out a medium size treasure chest.  Aha Ive found it! dusting the chest off Blkmgflare said the short incantation his father had taught him to break the magic seal and open the chest.  Up until now he had never really thought about what was inside but now looking at it as the seal was broken he remembered his fathers words.  Inside this chesty westy is a great treasure passed down from our family for generations.  It is the pinnacle of our familys power of a long line of black mages and will serve you well when the time comes. Opening the chest Blkmgflare found a medium golden staff shiny as if brand new yet tinged from battles.  A small dark orb was sealed at the top of the staff and Blkmgflare could feel a great power hidden deep inside of it.  This was the Dark staff his father was talking about and he knew exactly how he was going to use it.  Fastening the staff to his back with a small leather strap he packed up the rest of his belongings and headed for the Bonecrafters Guild.

Meeting By Chance
Slowly opening the door to the Bonecrafters Guild Blkmgflare headed to the front desk.  The room was illuminated by the approaching dusk and the air smelled of old artifacts.  A few people could be heard moving about as Blkmgflare got closer to the desk he yelled, Toro-moro! Toro-moro!  Toro-moro was the head of the  Bonecrafters Guild and was close friends with Blkmgflares parents.  Blkmgflare could remember sitting in on his parents discussions with Toro-moro and on occasion helped deliver some of the artifacts his parents found to the the guild for craft testing.  Im a coming replied a gruff voice from upstairs.  An old tarutaru in a bonecrafters work apron carrying a small envelope approached the front desk.  Well if it isntaru my favorite little taru.  Hows your magic coming along?  Greataru! Thats what I wanted to talky walky with you about.  I saw the ad on the Auction House window.  I want to be an adventurer!  Toro-moro stared at the tarutaru with a sad expression.  I knew this day would come.  BlkI know what you are doing.  Are u sure you want to do this?  There is no turning back after this point.  I still remember your parents as if it was yesterday.  I know they would not want me to stop you.  Ah but first Blkmgflare there is someone I think you should meet.  Ah yes this must be fatearu it mustit must.  The words of the Star Sybil are coming to pass.  Toro-moro looks to his right at a small window with a bench in front of it.  It was growing darker and Blk could only see a silhouette of something apparently sitting on the bench.  Upon seeing Toro-moro turn to look at the window the silhouette moved and approached the front desk.  Blk could make out that it was a person and as the silhouette mixed with the small light illuminating the front desk Blk could tell it was a Hume woman.  She was dressed in White Mage artifact gear from head to toe and she was beautiful.  Her face held a bright expression but Blk could see a hint of sadness in her eyes.  The White Mage looked at Toro-moro and pointed to the envelope in his hand.  Thank you Toro-moro I thought I was to late.  The White Mage now turned to Blkmgflare who couldnt help but stare at the woman he had never seen before in Windurst.  Hello little taru!  My name is Cyanna.
