While going through my stack of “things to do”  I stumbled across newspaper pages three through eight.  I know not from which newspaper these pages came, nor the issue date, but did think it was something worth publishing. Starts on page three and I have no way of knowing the number of the last page.

Loren Balster , Chamberlain, S. Dak. 57325. Served four years in the Air Force, including two years in Alaska. Married, has five children. Loren was shipping clerk at Chamberlain Wholesale Co. for the past 20 years. He is working parttime as he is semi-retired. Hobbies are vacationing and enjoying the grandchildren.

 

Lulu Boslaugh (deceased" Nov. 15, 1959) Edgar Boslaugh, 1316 91st;. Ave.. 1#66 Space. Everett,.

Wash. 98025. Married the former Thelma Way in Mitchell, S. Dak. on Sept. 7, 1939 and have recently celebrated their 40th anniversary. They have two girls and one boy, all married. Edgar writes that he took leave from Beech Aircraft in Wichita, Kans. for service in the Army, 1943-46, serving 20 months in France and Belgium. Upon discharge he  returned to Wichita and Beech Aircraft, except for the winter of the big "Operation Haylift" in S. Dak. Their family spent their time at Cresbard, S. D.,

then returned to Wichita where he worked 19 ˝  years at Beech Aircraft. Then on loan to Boeing facility in supervisor on the 737 airplanes. Then transferred to Everett, where his crew worked on 747s. After 26 ˝  years Edgar writes "I got tired and retired." After two winters of "chasing the sun"

they decided that home in Washington was the resort of the nation in winter. Now settled in a pretty park and hobbies are bowling four nights a week in Senior Leagues, working crossword puzzles, and refurbishing old cars.

 

Claire Brady, Cottage Villa Park, No.2, Vermillion, S. Dak. 57069. Was Art Professor at the University of S. Dak. at Vermillion and upon his retirement was given the honor of "Professor Emeri-

tis". Claire still does lettering for the college and his hobby is book binding.

 

Genevieve Brooks (Mrs. Ernest Leiferman) Kimball, S. Dak. 57355. Attended college;. taught school for a number of years. Was 4-H leader for 12 years. Has four children. Gen's hobbies are doing fancy work, babysitting and taking vacation trips.

Dorothy Brumbaugh (Mrs. Joe Lomica) 124.5th Ave. E., Cresco, la. 52136. They have two daughters. Dorothy and husband farmed until moving to town where she has worked as telephone operator for seven years; managed a credit bureau and accounting service for 13 years and presently is bookkeeper and pharmacist assistant with a drug store.

 

Ella Craft (Mrs. Clinton McIntee), R.t ##4, Mitchell, S.. Dak. 57301. Attended Mitchell Notre Dame Jr. College. Taught in rural schools for six years. Clint and Ella have three children, all married so have five grandchildren, all living in Mitchell. Ella worked as office clerk in the admittance office of St. Joseph hospital for six years. Upon her husband's retirement from Hormel's they bought an acreage near Mitchell where they now live. Ella is still busy being on the executive board of St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, doing volunteer work as a Pink Lady. Is an officer in Catholic Daughters; member of American Legion Auxiliary and Holy Spirit Altar Society.

 

Archie Duba (deceased Nov. 19, 1965)

 

Gallord Duba, Academy, S. Dak. 57310. Attended SSTC. taught school a number of years. Married the former Lola Hoffman of Platte. Has five children. Gallord is semi-retired on the farm and still enjoys attending and watching sports of all kinds.

 

Daisy Mae F1ynn (Mrs. John Cranny), 1631, S. 15th St., Sioux Falls, S. Dak. 57104. Daisy Mae is president of the Sioux Falls Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetic Foundation, and appears on television' for the foundation. Her husband is with Prudential Insurance Co. They have two daughters and one son.

 

Orville Forman, 1937.26thAve.. Oakland, Calif. 94601. Not married. Has a B.A. degree with a Bible Major. Did graduate work in theology and law, also took one rear of swimming at the University of Minn., taught school one year near Eagle, So. Dak. in 1949-50. Presently manages a rooming house, keeps busy with playing saxophone solos, and duets and trios, along with directing singing in down-town missions.

 

Mabel Geppert (:Mrs. Chester Davis), 3240 S. E., Berwyn, Ill. Teaching school at  St. Leonards in Berwyn, 14th year. Husband is research chemist for Helene Curtis, formerly with Toni home perma-nent. They have five children.

 

Mary Geppert (Mrs. Robert Evans), 2136 S. Osceola, Denver, Colo. 80219. Is teaching kindergarten and still sings with Sweet Adeines, 120 members, with two gifted directors. The chapter competed in international competition in Los Angeles and won 4th place last fall. Her husband is  counselor at Lincoln High School. They have two children.

 

Olive Hansen (Mrs. Harry Korzan) RR2, Box 3, Pukwana, S. Dak. 57370. Has three children. Olive and her husband are still on the farm, so the hobbies are contained in the farm work.

 

Grace Helma (Mrs. W. H. Carriques) , St. Petersburg, [o1a. 33701, Has one daughter. Grace and her husband retired from operating a jewlery store.  

 

Lawrence Hrdina, 8173 S. Carlo Ave., Chicago, 1lI. 50652. Still works part time. Is married and has two sons. Still likes to hunt and  fish.

Lucille Kratochwill (Mrs.Raymond Geppert), Kimball, S. Dak. 57355. Has two daughters. Lucille taught school several years before her marriage. She and her husband retired to Kimball  from the farm in 1970. Has been employed in the office  of the Kimball Livestock Exchange for several years.

 

Evelyn Maresh (Mrs. Dale  E. Losey, Box 643,  Prairrie City, Ore. 97869. Taught school seven years in S. Dak. Five of these years on the Pine Ridge Reservation. They have two sons. After sons left home Evelyn again taught school for eight years in Bates, Ore. Both she and her husband are retired and enjoy reading and watching TV.

Kathryn Mines (Mrs. Alvin Wuebker) , 244 Jackson Ave., Ogden, Utah 84404. They have two boys and three girls, all married and have nine grandchildren. Kathryn works in an income tax office. Her husband is a painter and interior decorator. They are semi-retired.

 

Elizabeth Plut (Mrs. Al Herring), 9008-48th Drive N.E., Marysville, Wash. 98270. The Herrings are retired people. Five of their six children are married and there are 13 grandchildren. Elizabeth writes that they dance at the Senior Center, play lots of Pinochle, she sews a lot, visits nursing homes, works for the church and they have many family get togethers.

 

Evelyn Rohrs (Mrs. Tom Evans), 1033 Birch St., McMinnville, Ore. 97128. They have two married sons. Tom is still working in the commercial phase of the carpenter trade, and hopes to retire this year. Evelyn writes that she hasn't worked outside the home since late '60s and plans to travel and camp upon Tom's retirement.

 

Bernice Schweigert (Mrs. George Sedgwick), 2785 Redwood Ave., No.5, EI Cajon, Calif. 92020. Her husband passed away in March 1973. For the past eight years Margaret has worked in the Social Service Dept. of San Diego county. The last few years also spent raising a  young boy who lost his mother at an early age. Margaret has a daughter and a son, neither married.

Robert Vogel, Kimball, S. ! Dak. 57355. Not married. Still living on the farm. Likes to travel and hunt. Still interested in collecting Indian relics and presently  collecting guns.

 

Roy Whitaker, 2717 Healing Dr., Dallas Texas 57228. Is married, no children. Roy had open heart surgery two years ago, but is back working for the Armored Motor Service which has been his occu-pation for several years. Vacations are spent traveling and camping.

 

Cecil Wilcox (deceased March 1966)

 

Walter "Pete" Williamson, 4911 N.E. 44th Ave., Vancouver, Wash. 98661. Married the former Myrtle Wolbert. They have four children and 11 grandchildren. Pete retired seven years ago after working 25 years for the U. S; Government. He writes that about all he does now is fish and play cards with about three different clubs, but he says, "We do have fun."

 

Charlotte Wilson (Mrs. Marvin Erickson), Farmington, Minn. 55024. Until recently her husband ran a radiator shop. They now live on an acreage which they call a "hobby farm" and main interest is horses. Charlotte works part time in a hospital. They have four boys and two girls. Charlotte and her husband have 13 grandchildren.

 

Leonella Wingert (Mrs. Angus MacLeod), 4618 S. 9th St., Arlington, Va. 22204 Has one son, Charles, living at home. Leonella retired from Civil Service and now works in a retirement home. Her husband is semi-retired.

Reeva Ashley ( Mrs. R. C. Nankevill) Spearflsh. S. Dak. Retired teacher who does some substitute teaching and tutoring. We have one son, William.

 

Nellie Berry (Mrs. Floyd Sluka) 16427 North 31st St., Phoenix, Ariz. Widow with  one (dau), Gail, and one grandson. I still maintain the partnership with the breeding of thoroughbreds and  some runners at various tracks.

 

Kendall Bonner, 941 Lafayette. Denver, Colorado. I am still working as a linotvpe operator for the paper. We have one son.

 

Helen Boyd (Mrs. Hughes) 3200 Rusticwood Way, Sacramento, Ca. Taught and worked with mentally retarded children for years. I now live in a new home on the outskirts of Sacramento. I do babysitting, some homeaid work and lots of church work. I have 2 daughters and 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.

 

Kenneth Brchan, Kimball, S. Dak. Graduate of S.D.S.U. Quit farming in 1968 and ran "Ken's Farm Service." We built a new home in Kimball and reside there and I continue with Ken's Farm Service. We have two children, Ed and Ruth and six grandchildren.

Vernlie Clements, (Hutch) Kimball, S. Dak. Worked for the Department of Agriculture in Minnesota and South Dakota. Have traveled extensively. Now retired still traveling and enjoying it all. One sur-viving son, who returned to his mother's native state.

 

EIsie Cook (Mrs. Norman Stevens) 401 Lincoln Blvd., Beatrice, Nebr. Graduate of Long Beach Junior College. Since 1940 I have lived in Nebr. where Norman was a wholesale grocer. We have two children, Everett and Vernita. We traveled extensively and I belong to many organizations. One of the most gratifying things that I do, is to deliver meals on wheels. My door is always open.

 

Ruth Dorwart (Mrs. Geo. Fousek) Kimball, S. Dak. We farm NW of Kimball, so I as a housewife and farm wife, I do a little bit of  everything. I enjoy gardening and working with my flowers. We have one

daughter Evelyn.

Elton Foltz, (Butch) Kimball, S. Dak. I am retired after working for Cahill Oil Co. a number of years. We have two girls, a boy and 8 grandchildren. Retired and trying to keep out of work.

 

Anica Fox (Mrs. Harold Schoepf) Brookings, S. Dak. We are back in Brookings, after 10 years in Huron, during which time we built up another commercial printing plant. We have a son, Gary and a daughter, Nicki and 9 grandchildren.

 

Glen Fuson, 46 Clemson Court, Walnut Creek, Ca. Spent most of my live as a supervisor for several large construction companies. I have worked in all parts of the 50 states and some foreign countries, have been around the world several times. We have 2 girls. A boy and grandchildren.

 

Anne Glanzer (Mrs Meadors) 41053 Road 70, Denuba, Ca. Attended Denuba Jr. College and worked for the Edison Co. We have 2 sons and 4 grandsons. I worked as a bookkeeper for 20 years but had a slight heart attack and have had both hip sockets replaced so am retired and enjoying traveling. Will be waiting for the 50th reunion.

 

Rex Grabin, Route 5 Box 54, Miller, S. Dak. We still live on the farm in Hand County. Broke my hip in Sept. of 1976 so I am semi-retired, rent out my farm land and do carpenter work and painting. The

highlight of the past ten years was 6 months spent in Fairbanks, Alaska. We have 4 boys, 2 girls and 9

grandchildren. Lost one in an auto accident.

 

Gene Houda, 2680 South Shore Blvd., White Bear Lake, Mn. Graduate of U. of Nebr. and married. We are both now retired so 'legitimate loafers'.

 

Rose Jacobsen (Mrs. John Hoelker) Route 1, Eastman, Wisc. I am still on the farm by myself. I have 2 gjrls and 2 boys, one who lives here on the farm also. We have 10 grandchildren; keep busy babysitting, crocheting, sewing and gardening

Esther Kindig (Mrs. Jim Foust) 701 S. Hobart Blvd., Los Angeles, Ca. I am enjoying the life of 'retired'. I hope to make it back to a reunion one of these times. I manage to stay, healthy, happy and busy.

Leo Konechne, 5142 N. Berkley, Milwaukee, Wisc. I am chief custodian in a Catholic school. I lost my

wife some time ago and have remarried. I have 2 children.

 

Blanche Korzan (Mrs. Felix VandeVoorde) 2254 North Camino Castile NO. 9()6, Tucson, Ariz. in winter and Chamberlain, S. Dak. The rest of the time. Attended Notre Dame and taught rural school. We have 3 children. We ran a Gambles store for over 30: years and are now retired.,

 

Ralph Kott, Academy. S. Dak. We are on the farm South of Kimball and 2 sons farm with me. We have 4 daughters and 2 sons and 7 grandchildren.

Dorothy Matthews (Mrs. Otto Fousek) Wagner, S. Dak. We are retired but still live on the farm SW of Wagner. We have 3 girls and 2 boys and 3 grandchildren.

 

Harold Neelen, 229 Wilard, Jamestown, N. Y. After I left Burian’s Market, I went to New York and have been here 39 years. I am happily married and have 3 sons. K.H.S. is the greatest and I have many fond memories of the students and faculty.

Harold Payton. 2816 3rd Ave. W, Hibbing, Mn. After working for the Hibbing newspaper, I am now retired. We have one (dau) and 3 grandchildren.

 

Howard Payton, Kimball, S. Dak. After working for the City and the Cahill Oil Co. we purchased the Kimball Hotel. We have 4 girls, 2 boys, and 14 grandchildren.

 

Melvin Peters, P.O. Box 5103, Fresno, Ca. After 30 years in Federal Service I have retired and am enjoying it. I never married.

 

Lenora Piskule (Mrs. Wid Martin) Pukwana. S. Dak. I have a son Jim. Wid and I are retired and enjoying it. I enjoy doing all kinds of fancy work.

 

Helen Pulse (Mrs. Lewis Beckman) Platte, S. Dak. I am retired. My husband is in the repair service. We have a daughter and 2 sons

H. L. Richardson (Shorty) 110 Datonia St., Bellaire, Texas. I work for Chevron Geophysical Co., a subsiduary of Standard Oil Co. My job is Supervisor of Technical Training. Married 36 years and no children. Retiring in 1981.

 

Stanley Roesler, 507 South Park St., Mount Olive, Del. The Lutheran Church, which I serve, recently built us a lovely, ranch style, brick home. Graduate of Warburg College and Lutheran Semin-

ary in Iowa. We have 5 children, 3 boys, 2 girls and 8 grandchildren. I feel that the Kimball community is one of the finest areas that I have ever lived in.

 

Lester Rohrs, 15130 S. Lime, Compton, Ca. I am the same, only a little bit more around the middle.

Retired from being supervisor in the refinery Dept. of Flint-Kote Co. I had quite a time retiring after being used to getting up at 4 a.m. for so many years. We have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. I have a garden and keep busy in my garage. We enjoy sports and attend all the games we can.

 

Harold Sanders; Kimball, S. Dak. I ran the Mobil service for a number of years and now I carry mail. We have a daughter, Doris Jean.

 

Delphine Simmons (Mrs. John Sanuy) 3139 Gregory St., San Diego, Calif. 92104. I have retired from Mercy hospital where I worked as a nurse for a number of years. We have no children. We are both re-tired and enjoying it very much. We would like to come back for a 50th class reunion in 1983.

Fred Smith, 21155 S. Harvard Blvd., Torrence, Calif. 90501. I have retired from the construction business for about three years. Would like to see or hear from anyone from Kimball, especially anyone that might be near hear.

Mary Thomas (Mrs. J. D. Long) 245 Montgomery, Custer, S. D. 57730. I have retired and enjoy just keeping up our home and the yard. We have three daughters and four grandchildren.

Elsie Vogel (Mrs. Bart Christiansen) 708 S. Minnesota, Mitchell, S. Dak. We retired from the farm and moved to Mitchell and like it. We have two sons and one daughter and three grandchildren.

Marcella Warner (Mrs. Harold Rogers) 17535 Upland Ave., Fontana Calif. 92335. In 1944, Harold and I were married, we both graduated from NW Nazarene College with an A.B. degree and I have a Master of Arts from Pepperdine University. I have taught a total of 33 years. We have one daughter and two grandchildren. We really enjoyed the reunion last summer and are looking forward to another

summer one.

 

Woodrow Wentzy, 105  21st Ave. S., Brookings, S. Dak. 57007. I haven't retired as yet. Still working for KESD TV 8. I have been alone since July of 1975 when my wife died. We have 2 sons and 2 grand-

children.

 

Altas Will (Mrs. Clifford Conley) Kimball, S. Dak. I taught rural school for seven years before marry-ing. We are farming north of Kimball We have three daughters; Nancy, Sherry and Jean and 7 grand-children.

Mary Marie Berry (Mrs. Lester Sebesta, 1205 National, Yankton, S. Dak. They have two children. Marie works as a salesperson in the Rexall Drug Store of Yankton.

Dale Brchan, 1039 N. Main, Brookings, S. Dak. Dale received his B.S. degree from South Dakota

State College. After 24 years of' service in the National Guards, Dale retired with the rank of Colonel.

He is presently a Civil Defense Director in Brookings. Dale and his wife have 3 children.

 

Marcella Conley (Mrs. Dick Mauer) 660 Leslie St. T. No.62, Trailer Homes, Ukiah, Calif. 95482. At the present time Marcella is teaching third grade in Ukiah. She has one daughter. Marcella's husband and one son are deceased.

Margaret Geppert (Mrs. R. C. Skeels), 16 Spring Brook  Circle, Sacramento, Calif. Margaret former-ly worked in a mental hospital, but now works part time in a convalescent home. Her husband is semi-retired. They have five children.

 

Claire Gustafson, Verbank, New York. Claire attended the School of Mines at Rapid City for two years. For a number of years, he was a surveyor for a federal agency and then a mechanic in the LeLava Plant. He is now retired. They have three children. a son and two daughters.

 

Pearl Hansen (Mrs. Harold Sandberg) 1915 S. Minnesota, Sioux Falls, S. Dak. Pearl is married and has one son and one daughter.

 

Libbie Helma (Mrs. Howard Armstrong) 1529 Sherman, Port Townsend, Wash. 98368. Libbie taught  10 years in South Dakota, then taught 2 years in Bremerton. In 1947 she married  Howard Armstrong of Arlington, S. Dak. They have three daughters.

 

Fred Johnson, Downing, Calif. He is a painter and carpenter. He is married and has a son and a daughter.

 

Dorothy Jones (Mrs. M. P. Bradley) 233 West Lake, Shore Drive, Bearington, lll. They have three children.

 

Margaret Jones (Mrs. Harry Konechne). Margaret formerly worked at St. Joseph Indian School. She and her husband are now retired and live in their home in Kimball. They have three daughters and a son.

Loretta Maiers (Mrs. Earl Klaus) Alexandria, S. Dak. 57311. Loretta worked for many years as an R.N. at St. Joseph Hospital in Mitchell. She later taught classes in nursing. She is now retired and enjoys traveling. She and her husband have three daughters.

Mary Milner (Mrs. Gene Houda), 2680 South Shore Blvd., White Bear Lake, Minn. 55110. Mary attended S. D. State College. She is a former Home Economics teacher, now retired. She and her husband have one son, Ted.

Ralph Nelson, Kimball, S. Dak. Ralph and his wife, the former Marjorie Hallman. moved from Gardenia, Calif. to their farm north of Kimball in May of 1978. He is retired. They have six child-

ren and twelve grandchildren.

Josephine Stuntebeck (Mrs. Henry Hartung), Kimball, S. Dak. She attended SSTC at  Springfield, and taught for a number years. She and her  husband reside on a farm south of Kimball.

 

Mildred Urban (Mrs. Harry Springer), Chamberlain, S. Dak. She is at present employed at St. Joseph Indian School. Her husband "- is deceased. She has two children.

 

Clifford Will. Kimball. S. Dak. He is a rancher and farmer living north of Kimball. He married Altas Conley and they have three daughters and seven grandchildren.

 

Cora Will (Mrs. Kenneth Jones), Mitchell, S. Dak. Cora owns and runs a day care center in Mitchell called the Playhouse. She married Kenneth Jones and have one daughter and two grandchildren.

 

Grace Williamson (Mrs. Frank Holoubek) E., 5th, Mitchell, S. Dak. They are both retired. They have two children.

 

Leona 'Yeager (Mrs. Emery Hanno) Box 1359, Winslow, Ariz. 86047. Her husband is deceased. She

Gladys Cummins (Mrs Tessler) 106 Oak Terrace Estates, Anoka, Minn. 55303. Received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern State College in August 1968. She has taught 12

years in S. Dak. and then several years in Coon Rapids. Minn. She has one daughter, Elaine, and two..

granddaughters. Her husband passed away in 1968.

 

Eldora Duba (Mrs. Louis F. Beeman) 8492 E. Lehigh Dr.. Denver, Colo. Graduated from Dakota Wes-

leyan U. in 1939 and taught school until 1945. She and her husband operated a specialty shoe store and have now retired.

 

Perl Duba, :1.670 Whippleway, Del Monte, Calif. 94002 His first wife passed away, and is now re-married. He has one adopted son, Mike. He was working for a plumbing wholesale company and is now retired.

 

Gladys Eckstein (Glanzer) 3401 E. Louisiana St'., Kenner, La. 70062. Retired after 20 years. She lives with ber son James and, wife. Other son, Gary, is living in Des-Moines,  Iowa. (Dau) Jeanine, married, liyes in Kenner.

 

George Fousek, Kimball, S. Dak. He was a meat cutter for 5 years in Los Angeles. Married Ruth Dor-

wart in 1938. Returned to S. Dak. in 1942. Bought his grandfather's farm where he still lives. They operated a Grade A dairy. One daughter, Evelyn. He says he is about as retired as you can be without retiring completely.

 

Evelyn Gabrielsen (Mrs.Eldred Barden) 212 East 9th Ave., Mitchell, S. Dak. They have five children, 3 girls and 2 boys. Husband is disabled but can get around. Evelyn is active and working full time as a waitress at Court's Cafe for the past 12 years. They have seven grandchildren.

 

Mary Kathryn Gustad (Mrs. W. P. Nelson), Little Falls, Minn. She is teaching her last year before retirement. Her husband died in 1978. She has two daughters and one son, who all live in the St. Paul area.

 

Betty Hamilton (Mrs. Forrest Hintz), 3324 S. Bann, Wichita, Kansas. She works for Manpower Inc. and is active in the Presbyterian church. They have one son and one grandson.

 

Elsie Helma (Mrs. Ervin Petula) , Kimball, S. Dak. She has taught 20 years in Brule county schools. She enjoys many church and community activities. She and her husband, who is semi-retired live on their farm south of town.

 

Ethel Kindig (Mrs. Jack  H. Webb), 216 W 5th St., Sehwano, Wise. 54166. received her Master's degree from Northwestern U.,  Evanston, lli. Taught 26 years and has been a school psychologist for 8 years at Appleton,  Wisc. Husband is a  veterinarian. No children.

Leotta Konechne (Mrs. Raymond Doering) Box 136 Chula Vista, Calif. 92011. Taught school in S. Dak. 5 years. Went to San. Francisco in 1940. Was a relief manager for all Safeway Stores. Married. a Navy man in 1944. Has five children, 3 girls and 2 boys. Was divorced in 1971. At present she is a therapist (physical and voice) for crippled patients and works as a Real Estate Agent. .

 

F1orence Kott (Mrs. James Mines), Farson, Wyo. 82932. She has been teaching school and has been the school librarian. They have seven children, 2 daughters and 5 sons and 4 grandchildren.

 

Rose Kubik (Mrs. Lewis Talich) Kimball, S. D. They live on a farm south of town. They have no

children. Rose enjoys community and church activities. Favorite pastimes are cooking and gardening.

 

Vera Leheska (Mrs. Kenneth Brchan) Kimball. S. Du. They are semi-retired. They enjoy community activities and many hobbies. They have two children and 6 grandchildren.

 

Anthony Lulewiez. 216 E. 9th, Mitchell, S. Du. 57301. Two children, Jerry and Vickie. and five grandchildren. He is manager of United Auto Parts, Inc.

 

Alice Meier (Mrs. C. J. Riddle) 81086 Sears Road, Cottage Grove, Ore. 97424. Husband is a semi-retired cattleman. They live on a 340 acre farm on the coast. They have five daughters and one son, 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She has been assistant librarian for Cottage Grove Public Library for the past six years.

 

George Mines, Colman, S. Du. He and His wife live on a farm. His sons run the farm and he is a mail

carrier. They have nine children, 7 boys and 2 girls. Six of the children are married and they have 12

grandchildren.

 

James Mines, Farson, Wyo. He is a rancher; also operates Wind River Wilderness Camp for boys. They have 7 children, 2 daughters and 5 boys, and 4 grandchildren.

 

Gerald Natvig, 1531 Morningside Drive, Hastings, Neb. He owns and operates a pharmacy. His wife teaches in the. elementary grades. They have 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters.

Glee Smalley (Mrs. Roland Ball) 1955 Irvine Ave., Casta Mesa, Calif. 92627. Glee is a retired TV entertainer and pianist. Glee and her husband have suffered from heart problems. Her husband's children and 9 grandchildren have been her special joy, having no children of her own.

 

Jane Stewart (Mrs. Howard Tice) 2223 Winwood Dr., Fayetteville, Arksansas. She taught school one year in Kansas City and 7 years in Virginia. Her husband was with the Dept. of Transportation and is now retired. They have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.

 

Paul Stowell, 730 Troy St., Aurora, Colo. 80019, has been employed by United Airlines and has been a meteorologist instructor at United Training Center in Denver. He is married and has two daughters and four grandchildren.

 

Francis Surat, 142 Westcott Ave., Staten Island, N. York. He spent 36 years with the New York Fire Dept. and is retired. As a part time job he is an interior decorator. He is married and has one son and one daughter; four grandchildren.

 

Virginia Svoboda (Stadler) Kimball, S. Dak. She worked in the bank for 16 years. She has two children and 12 grandchildren.

 

Douglas Thayer, Bathell, Wash. He does construction work in the Seattle area. He is married and has no children.

 

Vlera Warner (Mrs. LaVern Boyd; 510 S. Broadway, Buhl, Idaho. VIera and her husband first farmed and she taught school. Now they manage a motel court and some apartments. They have two children and four grandchildren.

 

Doris Williamson (Mrs. Milton Holoubek) , Kimball, S. Dak. They farmed south of Kimball until 1966. They sold their farm to the SD State, Game & Fish. Her husband died in 1975. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
