A yard sale to benefit the association has been planned in Belmont Heights. Here are the particulars:

When: Saturday, Aug. 23, starting at 8 a.m.

Where: 310 Termino Ave., Long Beach -- near Termino and 3rd.

To donate items: Drop it off with our host, Yulonda Rios, by 7 a.m. the day of the sale. Remember: Contributions are tax-deductible. Nothing will be returned unless it is picked up by 2 p.m. Things will be priced to sell.
