The Dog Park is at 5201 East 7th St. and relatively close to the San Diego, San Gabriel River and Garden Grove freeways. If you are:

-- southbound on the San Diego Freeway (I-405): Exit Bellflower Boulevard south. About a mile and a half you'll come to 7th Street where you'll want to turn right. Cross Pacific Coast Highway and head down the hill. At the bottom you'll find the entrance to the Dog Park on your right.

-- northbound on the San Diego Freeway (I-405) or westbound on the Garden Grove Freeway (22): Take the 7th Street exit into Long Beach, where you'll pass the state university and the Veterans Hospital. Cross Pacific Coast Highway and head down the hill. At the bottom you'll find the entrance to the Dog Park on your right.

Northbound on the San Diego Freeway (I-405) or westbound on the Garden Grove Freeway (22): Exit 7th Street into Long Beach and turn off on Studebaker Road where you'll make a left at the light. Take Studebaker south until it dead-ends into 2nd Street (formerly Westminster Avenue), where you'll take a right. Stay on Second Street and go over two bridges into the Belmont Shore shopping area. Turn left on Grenada Avenue. At the end is the entrance to the parking lot. Look for the Dog Zone markers to the south of it.

Southbound on the San Gabriel River Freeway (I-605): Take the 7th Street exit into Long Beach and turn off on Studebaker Road where you'll make a left at the light. Take Studebaker south until it dead-ends into 2nd Street (formerly Westminster Avenue), where you'll take a right. Stay on Second Street and go over two bridges into the Belmont Shore shopping area. Turn left on Grenada Avenue. At the end is the entrance to the parking lot. Look for the Dog Zone markers to the south of it.
