BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION 2002 -- CANDIDATES

After individuals have declared themselves candidates for the three seats up for election this year and have met the nominee qualifications stipulated in the association's Bylaws, their pictures and statements will be listed here. The three candidates who receive the most votes will be installed at the board's annual meeting, July 26.

JIM KNUTSON

Jim was elected to the board in 2000 and has served as president the past three years. He serves on the Maintenance & Planning Committee. Jim lives in Long Beach. His dogs are "Cinder" and "Cissy."

CAROLYN REED

Carolyn was appointed to the board to fill a vacancy caused by a resignation. She was elected in 2002 to fill out the rest of the one-year term for that seat. She has served on the Membership Committee and will be heading up this year's Pet Fair. Carolyn lives in Long Beach. Her dogs are "Roddy" and "Sarah."

JIM WALTERS

Jim was elected to the board in 2000 and has served as secretary the past three years. He also heads up the Publications & Communications Committee. Jim lives in Long Beach. His dogs are "Luther" and "Goldie."
