BEACH PILOT PROJECT
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Marine, in
association with other city departments, has developed a
proposal for a pilot program to allow limited beach
access for dogs. The plan was drawn up at the request of
City Councilman Frank Colonna.
The Marine Advisory Commission will host a community forum to obtain public comment regarding the proposal on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m., at Lowell Elementary School, 5201 E. Broadway, at Nieto Ave. (See the map.)
The meeting will begin with an overview of the proposed pilot program.
