Thanks must go to two special people who helped me to create these pages. My one and only Son - Mark, and my new "internet Friend" - Netta. Thanks for guiding me along a very NEW path! |
IF WE COULD HAVE A LIFETIME WISH A DREAM THAT WOULD COME TRUE, WE WOULD PRAY TO GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS FOR YESTERDAY AND YOU. A THOUSAND WORDS CAN'T BRING YOU BACK WE KNOW BECAUSE WE'VE TRIED, NEITHER WILL A THOUSAND TEARS, WE KNOW BECAUSE WE'VE CRIED. YOU LEFT BEHIND OUR BROKEN HEARTS AND HAPPY MEMORIES TOO, BUT WE NEVER WANTED MEMORIES, WE ONLY WANTED YOU! AUTHOR UNKNOWN |
REMEMBER ME TO THE LIVING, I AM GONE TO THE SORROWFUL, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE ANGRY, I WAS CHEATED BUT TO THE HAPPY, I AM AT PEACE AND TO THE FAITHFUL, I HAVE NEVER LEFT. I CAN NOT SPEAK BUT I CAN LISTEN. I CAN NOT BE SEEN, BUT I CAN BE HEARD. SO AS YOU STAND UPON THE SHORE GAZING AT THE BEAUTIFUL SEA, REMEMBER ME. AS YOU LOOK IN AWE AT A MIGHTY FOREST AND ITS GRAND MAJESTY, REMEMBER ME. REMEMBER ME IN YOUR HEARTS IN YOUR THOUGHTS, AND THE MEMORIES OF THE TIMES WE LOVED, THE TIMES WE CRIED, AND THE TIMES WE LAUGHED. FOR IF YOU ALWAYS THINK OF ME, I WILL HAVE NEVER GONE AUTHOR UNKNOWN |
THE MENTION OF HER NAME The mention of my Child's Name May bring tears to my eyes, But it never fails to bring Music to my ears. If you are really my Friend, Let me hear the beautiful music of her name. It soothes my broken heart And sings to my soul. AUTHOR UNKNOWN |
These pages are a "Labour of Love" by Alison's Mum to keep her memory alive. Alison was a beautiful young woman with a full life ahead of her when she was suddenly taken from us by a brain haemorrhage from a congenital blood vessel problem that we had no idea that she had. Like many other families faced with the sudden loss of a Loved One we were given the opportunity to donate Alison's Organs. It is so comforting to know that the generous spirit we loved in life has been able to give six other people a new lease of life. We hope that they live long and happy lives and we are so proud of our Darling Girl's wonderful legacy. Nothing makes it OK that Alison is not here with us sharing the future with her two sisters and brother, but it is of some comfort that her death was not a total waste - some good did come from our terrible loss. |
