I love to run. I have been running competitively since 1984. I recently completed my third marathon on November 23,2003 at Philadelphia. it was my slowest marathon but my most rewarding. I am not running as fast as I used to but still enjoy the competition and the great people.

Some of the best people I have ever met are through running. I have been fortunate to be part of three excellent running clubs over the years. My longest association is with the Central Jersey Road runners of Cranford,(CJRRC). Another club that I have been a member of for a long time are the Raritan Valley Road Runners of Middlesex County( RVRR.). Last but not least is my Saturday morning unofficial group known as Arties Track Club (ATC).

I do not run a lot of different races. I try to find races I like and do them year after year. Among my favorites are the Firecracker 4 Mile in Cranford, The CJRRC Fall Classic also in Cranford, the Midland Run in Far Hills,the Contact We Care 5K in Fanwood and the East Brunswick 10K.When I am competing I try to find races that offer USATF points.  My best finish was in 1997.
