The Story Behind the Photo

On servicing the trailer in preparation for the big trip, I found both inner wheel bearings to be defective.

With the new bearings this part of the trailer should be fine for the 5000 km of high speed duty on good highways as well as considerable travel on rough desert tracks along the western shore of Lake Torrens on Andamooka Station.

However I found some spring hangers to be badly worn so that makes another job.
