With his proposal to privatize social security going over like a lead balloon, and more and more people seeing Iraq as the quagmire it is and our president with no clue how to create a situation where we can leave, and facing a challenge from his few international friends on addressing poverty and global  warming, in comes the best PR machine Georgie could ask for - no not Carl Rove, but al-Queda terrorists bombing London. Although I am not sure Londoners will believe Georgie's futile "we fight the terrorists in Iraq so we dont' fight them here" mantra. (July 2005)

Tom DeLay, thrice admonished by the House Ethics committee, quickly moved to replace "traiterous" Republicans from the ethics committee and replace them with lapdogs. He then changed the rules to make sure that the committee would not look at his actions without the approval of his lapdogs.  The Republican Party is a party of only situational "values" where no republican is above the law and no republican is below the law becasue we we change the laws to save our friends. (April 2005)
