Lake access to one of the most beautiful lakes in Western North Carolina, Lake Glenville, at an altitude of almost 4000 feet. Access to the lake is via a community beach with boat ramp within 2 minutes walking distance from the house. The house has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen on main floor with en-suite bathroom, 2 twins on upper floor also with it's bath en-suite). Each bathroom comes with tub/shower. In addition there is a queen size sleeper couch in the living room and a trundle bed in the basement which also has a fusball table for family fun. The lake can be seen from each room of the house and the beautiful porch.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and disposal. All other kitchen amenities are there to make your stay feel like at home.
The living room/dining room combination has a stone fireplace for those cool fall evenings and you can see the lake through the two 8-foot sliding glass doors overlooking a 23 foot deck.
There is also a one car garage with automatic garage door opener which also contains the utility area with full size washer and dryer.
Just bring your suitcases. All else is there, including a large TV in the living room with a built in DVD and VCR, and stereo system with 3 CD disk changer. We've filled the bookshelves on either side of the fireplace with lots of books for those quiet curled up on the porch moments.
There's a marina 1 mile down the road where you can rent a skiing boat, pontoon boat, or use the community beach ramp to launch your own boat.
