Langston will be hosting the Edwin P. McCabe Scholars Bowl tournament ( info here ), an official "National Academic Quiz Tournaments, Inc." tournament on September 27, 2008.
The Langston University Quiz Bowl team finished in the "Sweet Sixteen" in the 2008 Honda Campus All Star Challenge.
Langston finished third in a tournament hosted by the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore.
Langston won the Consolation Championship in the 2007 Fall Norwegian Jr.Bird Tournament, an NAQT event, hosted by Oklahoma State University.
Edmond Santa Fe won the 2008 E.P. McCabe Scholars Bowl. Edmond Memorial and Timberlake also earned bids for their runner-up and third place finishes respectively. Timberlake also won the "Small School" title. All three have earned a bid to NAQT Nationals in 2009.
Oklahoma Bible Academy won the 2007 E.P. McCabe Scholars Bowl, and won a bid to participate in the 2008 National NAQT tournament, in Chicago.
