The Langston University quiz bowl team is pleased to announce the second-annual Edwin P. McCabe Scholars Bowl, to be held on September 27, 2008 on Langston‘s main campus. We will be using NAQT Packet IS-80A. This is an NAQT and PACE National Tournament qualifying tournament.
The registration fee of $75 per team will also include a light morning snack (coffee and something to the effect of a honey bun) and a pizza lunch. Each additional team will be charged a non-discountable rate of $50.
Discounts: $15 off for a functioning buzzer system.
$20 off for registering AND paying before September 10, 2008.
Registration will begin at 8:00 A.M., with game play beginning at 9:00 A.M. We will be using a round robin format, with a seeded, single- elimination tournament at the end.
