History of The Religious Response Network

The Religious Response Network is a gathering of religious leaders in the greater Eugene/Springfield area who support the civil and religious rights for all persons, and oppose discrimination against any single group within our communities, in particular, gay and lesbian individuals.

The Religious Response Network was formed in 1991 in response to the OCA's discriminatory ballot measure in the city of Sprinfield and, later, in the state of Oregon.  The RRN opposed the OCA's ballot measure 9 in 1992 and ballot measure 13 in 1994 which would have limited the civil rights of homosexual persons.  With the defeat of these two previous ballot measures, we again say "No!" to the OCA's discriminatory ballot measure 9 this November.

Why vote No on 9?
