‡ Princess Serenity / Neo Queen Serenity
As Heiress to the Moon Kingdom, Serenity was willing to risk everything for the sake of love.....and when that love was lost to her, she took her own life. Reincarnated as Tsukino Usagi in another time and place, she ascends to the throne as Neo Queen Serenity at the age of 22 with her husband King Endymion. The people of the Earth enjoy long life, (1,000 years or so!!) peace and prosperity. Although she apparently loses her ability to transform after the birth of her daughter, she is no less powerful. Even with all her apparent strength, Serenity relies most on the love she shares with Endymion. She has chosen time and time again to not go on without him.

‡ Usagi Tsukino
Usagi's whole name, Tsukino Usagi, is intended as a pun of the phrase "Tsuki no usagi" or Rabbit of the Moon. Usagi is the reincarnation of the moon princess Serenity. The manga begins with her being a slightly wimpy, slightly crybabyish 14 yr old girl. She runs into a talking cat who tells her that she is the soldier of the Moon. Her number one love is Chiba Mamoru, her Mamo-chan. Usagi is very loyal and devoted to her friends and loved ones, and will do anything to protect them.

‡ Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon is Usagi's powered-up form, the protector of the earth and moon. She has three forms, the first one is regular Sailor Moon, her second is Super Sailor Moon, and her final form being Eternal Sailor Moon. Many of her most powerful moves involve the unity of the other senshi. Early on in the manga her attacks are mostly for destroying the enemy, but as it progresses she becomes more focused on healing and goodness.

‡ Sailor Cosmos
Little is known about this all-powerful soldier. There's much debate about who she really is, but most people who have read the manga generally agree that she is Usagi's final form, from a far distant and war torn future. Her only appearances occur in issues 51 and 52, she reveals that she disguised herself as Chibi Chibi and came back to the past to help Eternal Sailor Moon make the "right" decision. But when she hears Eternal Sailor Moon's reasoning, she realizes that no one can destroy the place where stars are born. She decides to return to her own time and face her battles rather than run from them.
