Retreat In Praise is a ministry of Spiritual Formation for Church Leadership founded in 1998 by Pastor Linda Greer and Evangelist Bonnie Greer-Watts. Our Ministry Team provides Spiritual Retreats and workshops on the power of prayer and fasting, Spiritual Warfare, and Servant Leadership, for the edification of the Body of Christ.
Retreat In Praise Ministry is designed for the renewing of the individual Christian who sincerely desires to be an overcoming Christian, one who desires to have a deeper, richer intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
The Retreats are designed so that individuals can take time away from their busy schedules, pressures and demands of life, and commune with the Lord. Sometimes we spend too much time being busy for the Lord instead of ministering to the Lord and accomplishing the purpose that he has for our lives.
At the retreats, you will spend time reading and listening to stimulating talks that will broaden your own ideas and thoughts concerning issues and circumstances of life pertaining to God�s Word. Time spent in prayer and solitude waiting for a word from God usually enriches one's life and strengthens one's faith. Time spent singing praise songs and sharing one's faith with other Christians usually brings a deeper measure of joy, peace and hope to the Retreat's participants.
THE EXPERIENCE
Retreat In Praise is a monthly 3 day, home based retreat. It is a place where Saints of God can retreat from their labor and find rest and renewal from the Lord. Each month we have a "Retreat" in the home of one of our team members or participants. The retreat is Bible based and is designed to enrich, strengthen and encourage Christian women and men in their walk and ministry with the Lord. We offer prayer, worship, deliverance and a series of workshops, ministering to and equipping the participants for more effective ministry. We pray, worship and praise the Lord until His glory comes down. It is a time of refreshing and renewal.
During this intense 3 day retreat, you will experience studying, praying, singing and worshiping at an elevated level. We know that God is calling his people to a higher place of praise and worship. Not limited to one or two hours in church, we pray and praise until the power of God come down and until his Presence fills the place in which we are abiding.
On Friday night we start with a worship, praise and deliverance service. Afterwards there is a short repass. Those who will spend the night will experience an awesome 6:00 AM morning Corporate Prayer and Worship Session on Saturday morning. The workshops start at 10.00 AM. During these workshops there is group interaction, note taking and discussion on the contents of, usually three, outstanding and stimulating workshops.
Saturday night is a time of fellowship, quiet time, and Christian movies. Corporate Prayer commences again Sunday morning at 6:00 AM. If you want to feel and see the power and presence of God fall, Sunday morning prayer is the place to be. God has done an awesome work and deliverance in Sunday Morning Prayer. All participants leave the retreats with a feeling of great joy, renewal and accomplishment.
Our focus is consecration: through prayer, fasting, and time with God. We assist ministries in initiating Prayer Vigils as well as Spiritual Retreats.
