The Good Old Days ... ...

I got so many funny, brutal stories to tell. But I can't write them all out because you might be bored after reading too much. I figured a few lines are enough. I don't want you to think of me as a ... punk, you know.
Vandalism is the dream of all the teenagers.(Execpt for those sissy boys and nerds.) In vandalism, we had many innovating ideas. Here are some typical examples.
On the rooftop of a four-story building, we had our "grenades"(Powerful delayed-fuse firecracker covered in dry mud) ready. When there were people passing by, one or two would be tossed. And all we heard was screaming and swearing. In case anyone should come up, the girl's washroom would be the best hiding place.
Have you ever had a slingshot or BB gun in your hand and tired of shooting at paper target? We were bored too, until we found some better targets. Such as the public street lights, how about the fluorescent bulbs in the school?windows? Moving targets such as birds, rats, or better yet people?
Insulting people was fun too. Like, hot girls, homeless people and kids. Agitating a young man who played tennis and b-ball in our school after class was very exicting because he would often chase after us. If you ever have a chance, you have to play with the fire extinguisher. Once I got into trouble for competing with a friend who can throw jars farther, and we ended up leaving a big whole on the residence's balcony window across the school.
We tried just about everything from shoplifing, stealing to break-and-enter. I remember in Gr.5 once, the teacher's office wasn't locked. We "marked" students' homework and stole many teacher-seized items. In Gr.6 we broke the kindergarden office window, but were caught by the guard. Of course we told lies about how the window got smashed. He took my sweater and let us go. Then there came the revenge. For the next two weeks, we would come by and shout at him, throw rocks and firecrackers at him.(He was behind a metal gate of the front entrace, couldn't get out unless the lock is open) So guess what we did. Yeah, that's right. We stuck gum in the lock and sealed it by burning plastic bags.
What's that you say? Those are NOTHING? Well, if you want to hear more of those bad ones ...I would looove to... [*shouting*] What makes you think that I would tell you?!

This is my old elementary school

My apartment was just behind the shcool, about 1 minute walking distance. It has changed a lot over the six years. New buildings, new tracks, new ping-pong tables, equipments, etc. The far-left building is for Gr.1-3. They built it when I was in Gr.2. The most unforgettable experience is: Three of us in Gr.3 forced to kiss a girl for 10 minutes!!! Hard to believe eh?

Left That was my Gr.6 class going onto a field trip in a park. Right It was a friend's birthday. There was 6 of us going on a spending spree. It was funny because the birthday girl fell into the water! That was an amazing day.

This is my elementary school graduation photo. My class had always been the best class in the grade. From students' average to contests to sports. We had beated others by 20 something goals in soccer matches.

Some pictures around my campus

The waterfountain is really nice. In the summer you can see rainbows. And at night, there are lights in the water that make the whole thing colorful. I used to play model ships in the water. I also drowned a rat I caught...

Left Don't know who that statue is made for... We used to tell people his ghost walks out of him after midnight... Middle This is the student recreation center... kinda like YMCA. Right The indoor gym of the Sports Department. I was in a basketball team there. A close friend of mine got into a top university just because of his basketball skills... Lucky bastard. Some of us used to climb onto the roof and watch soccer matches between the university teams.

Middle School Pictures

Left Me running 300 m dash. It was in Gr.7 I think. Middle/Right My class in Gr.8. Not long before I left. Middle school was the best of all. We spent like...10 hours together a day, 6 days a week. Our homeform teacher was a young man. He usual played soccer with us after school if not busy with work. We went to school by taking the school bus in Gr.7. I used to fill up a plastic bag full of water and hurl it at passing pedestrians and BBQs on sidewalks. Or better yet, 8 people riding bikes at 6:30 A.M. to school for breakfast. We liked to make fun of teachers, but couldn't laugh out loud in class. We even read porno cartoons under the desk. Risky eh? At lunch time, we weren't allowed to leave the classroom, but went out by the exuse of "washroom break". Sometimes we went to the lab building's washroom and smoke cigarettes. (We smoked only for fun. I will never smoke. If any of you do, please consider quitting. It's too bad for your health.)
