I'm getting a telescope! I'm so excited! It's just a beginner's scope so nothing spectacular, but I'm hoping to use it to take pictures of some of our nearest neighbors. I've been saving my birthday money for a couple of years now to get it and I can't wait for it to come!
Family and Friends
Here's the latest addition to the family. Meet Maren YaPing. Isn't she adorable? My sister and brother-in-law adopted her from China and picked her up in December. I got to play with her when I was visiting in February. I am excited to see her again when they come to visit this summer.

My friend, Megan, is moving to Australia. Now the plan is for me to save like crazy and see if I can get enough money to go visit her.
