Location is everything!

 

The location of our luxury detached extremely spacious 4 bed-roomed single storey villa, with its south-facing private pool and hot tub, is just about perfect!  Situated on a quiet development Buenaventura Lakes, which as the name suggests is an area of Kissimmee, surrounded by lakes, and conservation areas, making for a quiet and tranquil setting.

 

If you have never stayed in a villa before you will be amazed at how comfortable, spacious and convenient it is.

Whether you are “doing the parks” or just wanting a relaxing get away from it all type of holiday/vacation – then look no further …our villa will fit the bill.

The villa has every facility that you will need to make your holiday the most memorable ever. We look upon our villa as a home from home and have tried to add everything that we would like while on holiday in Florida.

We have been visiting Florida for over 10 years and we are happy to share our knowledge with you.

Our aim is to make your stay at our home in Florida as carefree and enjoyable as possible The villa is available for rent when we are not on vacation in Florida ourselves.

 

Pool/Lanai

The private screened pool (28 ft x 15 ft) faces due south, overlooks a conservation area (woods) and is NOT overlooked by the neighbours on either side, something that is becoming VERY RARE in Florida these days.

 

Under the shaded carpeted lanai (patio), which is the width of the house, you can escape the intense heat of the mid-day sun; relax on the cushioned reclining sun beds, or for something even more relaxing, step into our new HOT TUB!   There is a large table ideal for lunchtime or evening dining, possibly accompanied by a glass of your favourite wine!

 

Living Accommodation

With high vaulted ceilings the villa is large, spacious, light and airy – it is 2100 sq.ft. in size and is air conditioned throughout.

 

2 lounge/family rooms with a separate dining room

The 2 family/lounge rooms, each have 2 large sofas, occasional tables and reading lamps, 1 has a large TV (cable), DVD/VCR player, the other has a CD stereo music system with a selection of music (some you may even like!) plus a selection of books for quieter moments, there are also 4 large boxes of games and toys for both adults and children alike.

 

There is a more formal separate dining room

 

We have deliberately omitted having any sleep sofas or rollaway beds, as we want you to enjoy the villa as it was designed, we also limit the number of weeks per year the villa is rented out – allowing us time to refurbish and keep the villa in pristine condition.

Should you not be dining out then the kitchen a fully equipped with all the kitchenalia you would expect

Large American style fridge/freezer with automatic ice making,

All the crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen implements you will need (even an apron and rolling pin!) enabling you whip up a culinary delight  - you could of course just take it easy and order in from the local fast food restaurants!  There is a plentiful supply of plastic ware for use around the pool area plus a breakfast table and four chairs in the kitchen.

Catering could not be easier, there is a choice of 5 supermarkets/grocery stores within 5 mins. from the villa including a 24 hr. Wal*mart superstore.

One of which has been themed with our younger guests in mind, all the bedrooms have their own individuality and there are 2 further bathrooms.

 

All bedrooms are large and have huge closets and plenty of drawer spaces, giving loads of storage for all those extra clothes you are sure to buy!

3 of the 4 bedrooms have their own cable TV.

 

Yes! there are hair driers – 3 at the last count!

 

If you have small children we have a cot/crib/bedding/highchair and other equipment is available, all completely FREE OF CHARGE.

 

More Information

The main areas have ceramic tiled floors, with carpets to the bedroom areas.

 

Bedrooms and main areas have ceiling fans with overhead lighting

 

Sheets, towels, tea towels, pool towels etc are of course all provided, with as you would expect a complete change of linen for every bed.

 

Security

A 24 hour monitored security system, smoke detectors and emergency lighting… are installed, giving peace of mind while you are out, ensuring that your belongs are being protected.

 

All rear doors and windows from the house that lead to the pool area have child alarms fitted.

 

A small local family run Management Company look after our home, who can arrange for a mid-stay clean – this must be arranged and paid for locally at the time.

 

We welcome smaller numbers of guests.

 

The villa has been inspected and is licensed by the State of Florida.

 

Internal laundry room

Large capacity washer and dryer, iron and board -

take your clothes home clean !!!

 

Parking

Double garage with interior access to villa.  There is ample off-street parking.

 

Attractions

Disney – driving there could not be simpler - it takes just 15 mins.   – the villa is just a couple of turnings from the Osceola Parkway – 1 straight road that leads to Disney’s front door, which for people like me who have no sense of direction is brilliant!

 

Just an hour’s drive away are the Beaches – such as Daytona and Cocoa  - and deep-sea fishing from Port Canaveral.

Should your vacation coincide with a shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral, it is possible to see the rocket after launch from the end of the driveway!  Check the local news to see if one is scheduled during your stay.

 

Seaworld, Universal studios and other major attractions are approx. 20-30 mins

 

For golfers – there are many different and varied courses nearby.

 

Shopping

“THE LOOP” Central Florida’s newest shopper/dining experience is only 3 miles, with shops, authentic 50’s style burger bar, various types of  restaurant,  plus 16-screen cinema complex.

 

Ventura Downs -  is just 3 mins.  where you will find 2 supermarket/

grocery stores,  several  fast food/take-away restaurants - some deliver,  Doctor and Dentist (we hope you will not need to use either!) petrol/gas stations, small local shops and across the road is Applebees restaurant.
