| For the most part everything about our project was successful. In the beginning it was a struggle to get organized but once everything fell into place we were off and running. It was frustrating trying to find people to interview because we had to go through organizations that couldn't give us names. We had to repeatedly make phone calls, keeping in mind that we had deadlines to make. Our presentations at each school went well. All of the kids were enthusiastic and they listened and followed directions well. They were very creative in problem solving when it came to the activities. The teachers were also great. They were very flexible and accomidating which we appreciated very much. Our interviews went well. We were so pleased to find people willing to share their stories with us. Our presentation and message to the kids would not have been the same without them. As a group we all learned very quickly about time management and priorities. We worked very hard and it was rewarding to walk away from this project knowing that we actually made a difference |
