Station 2: Go shopping activity What you need: Lots of items that you would get at a store (This could be anything from groceries to clothing to miscellaneous items), tables or boxes to put items on, a wheelchair (child size preferably), and a bag to shop with Set up: Arrange the tables in a garage style manner with the items spread out all over. Have the kids stand in a line for the wheelchair. Make sure to place the tables just far enough apart to allow the wheelchair through. Directions: Show the kids how to use the wheelchair (simple maneuvers like turning around a corner). Have them take turns shopping for items that you tell them to get. |
