ON GITA

( C o n t d ... P a g e  2)

First of all, after Noah there were three children: Shem, Ham and  Japheth.  What is the promise, God had given to those three?  Genesis 9:26,27…

And he said, Blessed by the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall

             be his servant.

Now see, there is blessings and curse given.  But there are three sons; but one, the Lord God is living in that son.  So he is called, ‘Blessed be the LORD GOD of Shem.’  The other one, ‘Japheth shall enlarge and then dwell in the tents of Shem.’  So who will develop, Japheth or Shem?  Japheth.  Now see, who has developed?  Western nations have developed in the world.  Now see, who has developed?  Western nations have developed in the world.  But God was giving a blessing to Noah’s children, giving the end time vision.  So He is seeing where the semitic tribes were, how God comes down into that nation and ultimately, how they are gathered.  So, Japheth is developing.  At the end he comes down under the tents of Shem.  What is a tent?  They don’t have a house even to live.  They come to that consecration.  Those people, they are having tents means: temporary.  It doesn’t mean that they are poor people.  They left everything and they are living in the temporary residence in this world.  But Japheth is increasing mightily in the wealth and everything.  At the end he knows there is no hope, and he comes under the life of Shem.  And he comes and hides under the shadow of Shem means: under that consecration they come and take residence.  And what about Canaan?  Canaan shall be whose servant?  Shem’s servant.

And He said, cursed be Canaan.  A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

Canaan shall be whose servant?  Japheth’s.  So these other people, they have hope by being servants to Japheth, and ultimately they are brought to Shem.  He is servant to both.  It is all one family.

Then Hinduism started in India.  It is an ancient religion in India.  From India only the people scattered all over.  And the semitic tribes did not scatter like that.  They were worshipping God, and the other people went to earn money.  So as this was going on, there was a man called Nimrod.  He was a terrible idol worshipper.  At that time Abraham got a revelation about the semitic tribe.  Nimrod said, we’ll put you into fire if you don’t worship the idol.  So they put Abraham into the fire.  Eleazer was the captain of Nimrod’s army.  He is the man who bound him (Abraham) and put him into the fire.  But Abraham did not die.  So Nimrod got afraid and the captain was converted.  Both of them ran and came to a place called Ur.  In Telugu they say ‘Uru’ in Tamil they say ‘Ur’ for a Village.  So he went there, because he was from South India.  So the village he called ‘Ur’.  And that developed very much and God chose that person.  From then, God’s people developed.  Then the ten commandments came.  And they became a big nation.  But, they didn’t follow God’s commandments.  And the Talmud Jews came and spoiled the whole Jewish religion.  At the time, because they didn’t obey God, they were scattered all over the world.  And they have many…  Majority of the people who worshipped cow and all these things came to India again.  So the people in India, they were calling them Aryans.  But many people did not know that the origin of Aryans is from South India.  So the people who were in India started attacking the people who came saying, “You are Aryans.”

Aryans doesn’t mean that they are white people.  So, confusion went on.  Tower of Babel came.  The world was of one language and one mind.  But suddenly the Spirit of God entered and scattered the whole thing.  Everybody talked a different language.  So the Spirit of the Lord made them speak different language which (among each other) they couldn’t understand.  Then they were scattered all over the world.  There was one river.  One river was going in China, one came through India, one in Persia, one in Euphrates.  They all had their beginning in a big mountain – probably Himalayas.  Then he cut (divided) the land.  And each river went in different directions.  And so Ganges came, Hiddekel came; because there were the original rivers in the garden of Eden. Ganges is called a holy river.  It came from the head of God (Shiva).  So the Ganges is depicted as a lady because it was running by the power of God, and so it produced so many blessings.  And the Hindus say, “If you dip in Ganges  your sins are forgiven.”  So they say Gita is superior than Ganga, because liberation has been declared to the reward of a bath in the Ganga; but if one bathes in Ganga he can obtain liberation for himself only, but not for other people.  But if he dives into Gita, one not only gets liberation for himself but also gains power of liberating others.

Ganga has sprung from the feet of the Lord, whereas the Gita has emanated directly from the lips of God.  Gita finds the way to every home and shows the way of liberation to every individual.  Gita is superior even to Gayatri ( a prayer).  Through the practise of the prayer of Gayatri, man attains liberation for himself only, but Gita liberates not only himself, but others as well.  When the dispenser of liberation – God himself, becomes his own, Mukthi comes a trifling affair to him.
