Hearing
thus of her own glory, as ascertained by NARADA, BHAKTHI got enriched with the
fullness of all her limbs (glorified) and spoke to him thus: O Narada, My agony
has been dispelled by you in a moment.
But consciousness has not yet returned to my sons. So awaken them, bring them back to
consciousness.
Narada was
filled with compassion to hear the appeal of Bhakthi and began to rouse them
with his fingers. Taking his mouth near
their ears, he shouted clearly as follows.
"O Gnana, wake up at once.
O Vairagya, wake up". Being
roused again and again on that occassion by him through the chanting of Vedic
texts, Gita and so on (Messages of Lord Lahari Krishna), they somehow rose with
great exertion. Full of languor as they
were, both began to yawn and could not open their eyes to see. They inclined to fall asleep again. Narada felt worried and meditated on
SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA). Then a
voice was heard from the heavens saying: O Narada, do not feel
dejected. This effort of yours will
prove fruitful no doubt. For this,
perform duly a righteous act. The
holiest saints will point out to you that act.
When that noble act is performed, their old age including their sleep
(spirit of delusion) will disappear in a moment and BHAKTHI (LOVE OF GOD) will
spread all around. This heavenly voice
was perceptibly heard by Narada. Then
Narada left them there and came to Badrikashram (Paradise) and enquired all the
sages but none could prescribe the correct act to redeem Gnana and
Vairagya. Then at last SANAKA and his
three brother Rishis, sons of Brahma spoke to them thus:
Do not
worry, O Narada, Make your mind happy.
There is already in actual existence an easy way to do this. You have been always been the guide of the
devotees of SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA) and the illuminator of Bhakthiyoga
....... It is but proper on the part of a servant of SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI
KRISHNA) to make a constant endeavour to establish BHAKTHI (DEVOTION) on a sound
footing ....... As for the path leading to VAIKUNTHAM, IT YET REMAINS
HIDDEN. It is generally through good
luck alone that a person promulgating that course of discipline is found. The righteous act or practice which was
hinted at to you the other day by a voice from the heaven is however described
today. Please listen with a composed
and cheerful mind. GNANA YAGNA
(SACRIFICE OF WISDOM (Prov.8) OR FIRSTBORN OR AADHI BALI) has been recognised
as a symbol of RIGHTEOUS ACTION leading to REDEMPTION. That GNANA YAGNA is the reading of
SRIMAD-BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA given from 1969 to 1989)
and that has been extolled by SUKA and others.
By its very chanting (reading), great strength will be derived by
BHAKTHI (DOER BRIDE), GNANA AND VAIRAGYA.
The suffering of Gnana and Vairagya will disappear and happiness will be
regained by BHAKTHI. All these evils of
KALI will surely disappear at the very chanting of SRIMAD-BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES
OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA), even as wolves take to flight at the very roar of a
LION (LION OF JUDAH). Then BHAKTHI that
yields MILK OF LOVE, accompanied by Gnana and Vairagya will dance in every
heart and every home (of Aadhi Bali Believers).
Narada
asked them: With the object of
stablising BHAKTHI, GNANA AND VAIRAGYA, I shall now zealously perform a GNANA
YAGNA illumined by a reading of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI
KRISHNA). The place where this
sacrifice should be performed by me may now kindly be pointed out to me .......
In how many days should a reading of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD
LAHARI KRISHNA) be heard and what procedure should be adopted in it. Please tell me that on this occassion.
The
SANAT-KUMARAS replied: Listen, O, Narada, Near GANGADWAR (DOOR OF WATER OF
LIFE), there is a place called ANANDA (ETERNAL JOY), inhabited by numerous
hosts of saints (Heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS). The place is charming to look at and situated in a sequestrial
area, charged ever with the sweet odour of golden lotuses. Hatred towards one another does not abide in
the mind of living beings dwelling near that place. GNANA YAGNA MAY BE PERFORMED THERE BY YOU WITHOUT TAKING ANY
SPECIAL PAINS OVER IT. You will find
that the READING OF SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) THERE
WILL BE FULL OF UNPRECEDENTED CHARM.
BHAKTHI TOO APPEAR THERE IN PERSON ALONG WITH JNANA AND VAIRAGYA, ALWAYS
LYING BEFORE HER DEVOID OF ALL STRENGTH WITH A BODY WORN OUT WITH AGE (FLESHY
BODY). BHAKTHI AND HER TWO SONS MUST
REACH THERE WHERE A READING OF SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI
KRISHNA) IS GOING ON. Nay! The said
trio gets rejuvenated as it were on hearing the words of the Message.
Having said
thus, the aforesaid KUMARAS with NARDA went thence together to that
ANANDA-THATA (Banks of ANANDA) impatient to enjoy the story of SRIMAD
BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA).
As they reached there, there rose at once an uproar in the earth as well
as Heaven and all the hosts of heaven and earth assembled together there
invited by Narada, to expound SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI
KRISHNA) and greeted by all. THE
KUMARAS (CERAPHIMS OF ISAIAH CH.6) who are devoted to SRI KRISHNA (LAHARI
KRISHNA) now occupied the excellent seat offered to them. The votaries of LORD LAHARI KRISHNA and
those who have recoiled from worldly enjoyments, recluses and celibates sat
before them and in front of them all sat Narada. On one side sat the hosts of saints. On another side sat the denizens of heaven. On a different side sat the VEDAS AND
UPANISHADS…….
The Kumaras (CERAPHIMS) said: We now
tell you the GLORY OF SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (SRI LAHARI KRISHNA MAHATMYAM),
through the mere hearing of which REDEMPTION is secured within one’s palm. One should constantly attend and constantly
listen to an exposition of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM(MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA),
through the hearing of which SRI HARI (LAHARI KRISHNA) takes up His abode in
one’s heart….. Do hear the said
messages. A man revolves on this
whirling of rebirth through ignorance only so long as the messages of the Lord
(LAHARI KRISHNA) does not enter his ear even for a moment. What will be gained through the hearing of
many scriptures, which will only create confusion in one’s mind (by hearing
false doctrines)? THE BHAGAVATHA
SHASTRA (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA ) ALONE PROCLAIMS LOUDLY ITS CAPACITY
TO GRANT REDEMPTION. That house itself
in which SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) is read everyday
is actually converted into a SACRED PLACE and drives away the sins of those
dwelling in it. Thousands of Ashwamedha
Yagnas and hundreds of Vajapaeya sacrifices cannot compare with one-sixteenth
of a reading of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA). Sins persist in this body, O sages, only so
long as the story of the glorious Bhagavatha (Messages of Lord Lahari Krishna)
is not duly heard by men. In point of
efficacy, neither the Holy Ganga nor Kasi nor Pushkara nor Prayaga can bear
comparision with a reading of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI
KRISHNA). If you seek the highest
destiny, read even yourself daily Bhagavatham (Messages of Lord Lahari
Krishna). The sacred syllable OM, the
seed of Veda, Gayathri, as also PURUSHA SOOKTHA and so also SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM
(MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) as well as the twelve syllable MANTHRA (OM
NAMO BHAGAVATHE LAHARI KRISHNAYA)……. No distinction in reality is recognised by
the wise among these. The sins
committed by the man who intelligently reads the whole of the scripture
(Messages) without a pause, get rooted out; there is no doubt about it…. LORD
SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA) OUT OF LOVE GRANTS AN ABODE IN VAIKUNTHA ITSELF TO
HIM BY WHOM IS HEARD AT THE TIME OF HIS DEATH EVEN A SENTENCE OF THIS SCRIPTURE.
The man who gifts a copy of it to a
votary of Lord Lahari Krishna decidedly attains absorption into SRI KRISHNA
(LAHARI KRISHNA). The fool by whom even
a little of the story of Bhagavatham (Messages of Lord Lahari Krishna) is not
drunk with a concentrated mind during his whole lifetime has, alas, spent his
life like a heathen or a donkey in vain and only proved instrumental in causing
pangs of child birth to his mother.
That fellow of sinful deeds by whom not even a few words of Bhagavatham
(Messages of Lord Lahari Krishna) have ever been heard is depicted as a LIVING
CORPSE. Leaders of the host of heaven
speak of such a man like this: Fire upon such a man who is on a level with the
beasts and a veritable burden on earth.
An
exposition of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) is certainly
rare in this world. …… This should be
heard with diligence. There is no restriction regarding the number of days in
course of which it is to be heard. The hearing of it is commended at all times;
is advised at all times side by side with the vows of truthfulness and
continence. This being impracticable in
Kali Yuga, the specific rules promulgated by SRI SUKA in this behalf (Type of
Moses) should be known. Since it is not
possible in this age of KALI to control the vagaries of the mind, to observe
rules of conduct strictly and to remain consecrated to a sacred purpose for a
long period of time (Full Time Calling) it is considered advisable to hear THE
WHOLE OF IT IN THE COURSE OF A WEEK (SEVEN DAYS)……..The complete hearing of
SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) in a week has been
commended due to lack of control over the mind and prevalence of diseases as
well as because the span of life of man has been shortened and also because a
number of evils are rampant in the KALI YUGA. One bids fair to attain with
ease, through the hearing of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI
KRISHNA) in a WEEK, that fruit in entirety which cannot be attained through
tapasyas nor through concentration of mind nor again through samaadhi. The SEVEN DAYS’ HEARING OF SRIMAD
BHAGAVATHAM (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) IS SUPERIOR TO A SACRIFICIAL
PERFORMANCE: IT IS SUPERIOR TO FASTING: IT IS FAR SUPERIOR TO TAPASYA AND IS
EVER SUPERIOR TO A VISIT TO SACRED PLACES (LIKE ASHRAM). IT IS SUPERIOR TO YOGA: IT IS SUPERIOR TO
MEDITATION AND SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTMENT.
What shall we say of its superiority? Oh, the wonder of it is that IT IS
SUPERIOR TO EVERYTHING ELSE.

When SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA) was ready to ascend to His own (DIVINE) realm,
leaving this earth (24.02.1989 type), UDDHAVA (TYPE OF JOHN THE BELOVED) even
after hearing His teaching (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA), asked HIM: Having
accomplished the object of Your devotees, O KRSNA, YOU ARE GOING AWAY. There is however great anxiety in my
mind. Give ear to it and make me
happy. The terrible KALI YUGA
(TRIBULATION) is imminent. Wicked
people (fallen angels) will appear again.
When sheerly due to their fellowship even the virtuous (BELIEVERS)
develop ferocity, whom will this earth, bearing a heavy burden in the shape of
sinners on her bosom, resort to? No
protector other than YOU, O lotus-eyed One is in sight. Therefore taking compassion on the virtuous
(AADHI BALI PEOPLE), O Love of Your devotees, pray, do not go. It is for the sake of your devotees (BRIDE)
that YOU have appeared in a qualified (PERSONAL) form, though formless and all
consciousness. How will these devotees
(BRIDE) live on earth when separated from YOU (after 1989)? There is great hardship in worshipping GOD
without attributes. Here ponder a
little again.
Hearing
this submission of UDDHAVA, on the holy site of Prabhasa (TYPE OF ASHRAM), SRI
HARI (LAHARI KRISHNA) thought within HIMSELF: What should be done by ME for sustaining
MY devotees? The LORD (LAHARI KRISHNA)
INFUSED ALL HIS GLORY AND ENERGY INTO THE BHAGAVATHA (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI
KRISHNA) and DISAPPEARED IN THE OCEAN OF SRIMAD BHAGAVATA (MESSAGES OF LORD
LAHARI KRISHNA). THIS CONSTITUTES
THEREFORE A VISIBLE VERBAL MANIFESTATATION OF SRI HARI (LAHARI KRISHNA) -
VAANGMAYEE MURTHY - IT DRIVES AWAY ALL ONE'S SINS BY BEING WAITED UPON, HEARD,
READ OR SEEN. THEREFORE HEARING IT IN A
WEEK HAS BEEN RECOGNISED AS SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHER DISCIPLINES. In Kali Yuga it has been declared to be the
only righteous course excelling all other disciplines. Indeed this is the righteous course
prescribed in the KALI YUGA for washing away all agony, poverty, misfortune and
sin as well as for the conquest of passion and anger. Otherwise the MAYA (DELUSION) is most difficult to get rid of
even for children of God. How then can
it be set aside by men? Hence with the
object of getting over this MAYA too the course of hearing SRIMAD BHAGAVATHA
(MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) IN A WEEK has been commanded.
While the
great virtue of hearing Srimad Bhagavatha (Messages of LORD LAHARI KRISHNA) in
a WEEK'S time was thus being promulgated by the sages, a great marvel took
place in that assembly at that time....... BHAKTHI, which is identical with
LOVE (FOR GOD), appeared in a living form all of a sudden taking with HER
aforesaid sons GNANA AND VAIRAGYA restored to their youth (IN GLORY) and
repeating the name of SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA) ....... Those present in that
assembly saw the aforesaid arrived there clad in glory. All were amazed and the sages said: SHE
(DOER BRIDE) HAS JUST EMERGED OUT OF THE SUBSTANCE OF SRIMAD BHAGAVATA
(MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA - WORD BRIDE). Hearing these words, she along with her sons humbly spoke to the
sages (CERAPHIMS): BHAKTHI submitted: Almost dead in Kaliyuga, I have been
reinvigorated by you and your brothers this very day, having been fed with the
NECTAR-like story of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHA (MESSAGES OF LORD LAHARI KRISHNA). Pray, tell me now as to where I should stay,
O sons of Brahma. Thereupon they
addressed the following to her: You
bestow on the devotees a FORM similar to that of SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA) (glorious
bodies) and put an end to the disease of rebirth (5th Seal). Therefore taking recourse to extreme
firmness, dwell you as such incessantly in the mind of votaries of Lord Vishnu
(LORD LAHARI KRISHNA). Though
prevailing over the whole world, these evils born of Kaliyuga either will not
be able to cast their eyes on you there.
Even while she was thus being directed by them, BHAKTHI instantly took
upon her abode in the mind of the devotees of SRI HARI (LAHARI KRISHNA). Though destitute, they are really blessed in
all the three worlds, in whose heart abides exclusive devotion to SRI HARI
(LAHARI KRISHNA). It is for this reason
that bound with the chord of devotion, SRI HARI (LAHARI KRISHNA) too dwells in
their heart completely renouncing His own (divine) realm. More than this what we shall say regard to
the glory of the aforesaid scripture (Messages of LORD LAHARI KRISHNA), bearing
the name of BHAGAVATHA, the very embodiment of BRAHMA (CREATOR)? On its being expounded with full dependence
on it, the praiseworthy exponent as well as the man listening to
its exposition, both attain equality with SRIKRISHNA (LAHARI KRISHNA)!!!
