| We have been living in France offering self catering family gites for rental for 11 years. We have therefore gained a wealth of experience in what makes the perfect self catering, family friendly holiday. We fell in love with this region of south west France not only for its superb beaches, historic towns and beautiful rural countryside but for the relaxed way of life, fantastic food and of course, the wine. We share all our knowledge with our guests over a glass of the local tipple and many return again and again and become friends. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The area is great for Golf with four excellent courses within easy travelling distance. Fishing is a national pastime and with the Poitou Charente offering both sea and river fishing its a great place to be. Wine is our speciality with Chris having worked in the industry for many years so wine tastings, vine walks and visits to a local wine maker make us stand apart from the rest. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is what one of our guests last year had to say 'We have had a truely wonderful holiday and none of us are quite ready to leave just yet ! The whole atmosphere around the gites is laid back and friendly with all the families helping each other, especailly with tourist advice. Chris and Wendy - you couldn't have been any more accomodating or helpful. We loved the communal bbq evenings. The wine tasting evening was brilliant and of course we are now experts who can spot a wine with legs at 10 paces !!
