TRANSPORT
-trains to Liège:
at the Belgian train network website NMBS you can look up how to get to Liège. there are 3 train stations in Liège city: Guillemins, Jonfosse and Palais. all are relatively close to La Zone so you could walk if you don't have to carry too much baggage.

Trains from and to Brussels, Bruges, Oostende, Verviers, Aachen, Köln, Eupen, Louvain-La Neuve, Arlon, Spa. Also a train to Huy, Namur, Charleroi, Mons, Doornik, Moeskroen, a train to Tongeren and Antwerp, and a train to Luxembourg.
-busses in Liège to La Zone:
from the train station Liège Guillemins you can take the train to Rue du Méan. ask the bus driver to stop at Rue du Méan or Place Delcour which are both very close to La Zone. it takes +/- 15 minutes by bus if I remember correctly and costs a bit more than 1 euro. i assume busses from Liège Jonfosse and Palais go the same direction. check the site of the busses in La Wallonie & Brussels at TEC.

DIRECTIONS
-from train station Guillemins:
take the Rue Des Guillemins, then Avenue Rogier next to the Parc d'Avroy. cross the river Meuse (=Maas in Dutch) on the first bridge Pont Albert 1st. then go to the left and follow Quai Marcellis until you see the next bridge (Pont J.F. Kennedy). go to the right. this street is called Rue Grétry until you are at another river (Dérivation de la Meuse). go left next to the river. this is the Quai de l'Ourthe. and there you are nr 42B!
-from train station Jonfosse:
go to Rue Jonfosse and then Rue Lonhienne to Boulevard de la Sauvenière. follow this boulevard to the right till you are at the Boulevard d'Avroy. Boulevard d'Avroy consists of 2 streets. take the left one until you are at Boulevard Piercot. you can see the Parc d'Avroy now. follow Boulevard Piercot to the left until you see the river Meuse (=Maas in Dutch). follow the street Quai Paul Van Hoegaerden. then you see a bridge over La Meuse. it's called Pont J.F. Kennedy. cross this bridge. then take Rue Grétry until you are at another river, Dérivation de la Meuse. take the street left next to this river. This is Quai de l'Ourthe and nr 42B is the entrance of La Zone!
-from train station Palais:
you see a big street with a tunnel in front of you: Rue de Bruxelles. take this street and go to the left. you will then see La Palais de Justice and La Place du Marché. take Rue de l'Official and then Rue Léopold until you arrive at the river La Meuse. cross the bridge Pont des Arches. go straight on in the Rue St. Pholien then take the 3rd street on the right: the Boulevard de l'Est. then follow Rue Puits-en-Sock for a little while and go right immediately to the Rue Surlet. follow that street till you are at Place Delcour. cross the square and go to the left (Rue Strailhe). you are now close to a river (Dérivation de la Meuse) and at the Quai de l'Ourthe). go to the right and at nr 42B is Ladyfest!

Liège is a city in La Wallonie, the French-speaking part of Belgium. In case you don't speak any French, I advice you to learn a few words and sentences or maybe take a dictionary.
