This is a partial view of the entrance to Luxor Temple. There is a seated statue of Amenhotep next to an obelisk raised in honor of Amen Ra, the sun god. To the right of the seated statue is the entrance. On the right side of the entrance (not shown here) is the exact same seated statue and the same obelisk. The Egyptians loved patterns and symmetry.
