Just past the entrance are 134 (yes, one hundred and thirty four) of these huge, wonderfully carved temple pillars. Each one of them tells a different story in hierglyphics, about pharoahs and their battles, or praises to the different gods. Back then, each pillar was colored, but all the color was washed away when this temple flooded several hundred years ao.
