You are the
visitor to jolly old England!
In June of 1999, I was so lucky as to travel to England, where my father's family lives, to see my cousin's wedding.  The plane trip was a bit of a disaster - delayed takeoff, missed connecting flight, AND my luggage was vandalized - but the vacation was WONDERFUL!  Here are a few pictures of places we visited, which I have arranged to go along with Emerson Lake and Palmer's version of "Jerusalem", which is (or SHOULD be) playing in the background.

As you can see, we concentrated on the historical/mythical sites.  We spent a few hours in London, but we really didn't like it.  First of all, a few hours just isn't enough time to see London.  Second, our aunt just dropped us on Oxford street, so we never saw the usual places, like the Tower or the museums or anything.  Lastly, we went to London after all these other places, and it's quite a shock to go from the peace and quiet of Tintagel Head to the hustle and bustle of London.  Someday I hope to go back and properly do London, as well as visit other places we didn't manage to see, like Hadrian's Wall, Glastonbury, and Wales.  Especially Wales.
And did those feet in ancient times

Walk over England's mountains green?
Tintagel
(Supposed birthplace of King Arthur.  The waves in the photo are breaking at the mouth of Merlin's Cave, which runs all the way under the island.)
And was the holy lamb of God

On England's pleasant pastures seen?
Dragon Hill
(Where St. George slew the dragon.  Across from chalk carving of Uffington White Horse)
And did the countenance divine

Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
Stonehenge.
And was Jerusalem builded here

Among those dark satanic mills?
Forest Lodge Hotel and Pub
(Where we stayed, in Edwinstowe.  If you're going to be there, I highly recommend it!)
Bring me my bow of burning gold!

Bring me my arrows of desire!
Major Oak
(Where Robin Hood and his men were reputed to hide.  It is hollow and can hold 20 men.  It is over 1000 years old, and is still growing!  That's why they need the planks to hold the branches up.)
Bring me my spear! O clouds unfold!

Bring me my chariot of fire!
Avebury Stone Circle.
I will not cease from mental fight,

Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,
Avebury.
Till we have built Jerusalem

In England's green and pleasant land.
