| Now a day's in this fast pace world And our hectic struggle to make it through, We forget to take time or make time For the 'little things' we had planned to do. Then as our life is winding down And our time's end is very close, It's then we realize -- but far too late -- That those 'little things' meant the most. For as we sit and look back on life, And all the happiness we may have lost By not making time for the 'little things' We learn what the bigger things have cost. Never put off till tomorrow The 'little things' planned for today For there's always another tomorrow But soon those plans will fade away. So take the time to make the time. Enjoy life for a second or two. Share a moment with someone special, For it will also be helping you. And make time for those 'little things.' Be sure you do before it's too late. Don't waste your life chasing tomorrows While your todays refuse to wait. (August 2, 2003) |
