Asellus

She was run over by a horse and carriage on the way to her aunt�s house in Shrike and presumed to be dead. She wakes up in a strange castle with the memory of being killed, but there are no wounds on her. She comes to realize that Lord Orlouge, the Mystic Lord, was the one that hit her. It was him that saved her with his blood. Now, neither fully human nor Mystic, Asellus is on a quest to find out who she is and to punish the one that took her life away.

Blue

While attending his graduation from the Magic Kingdom school, Blue is given the task of becoming the greatest magician. To do this, he must travel to various regions learning as much magic as he can. Once he�s finished, he must return to the Magic Kingdom to kill his brother, Rouge. However, things aren�t what they seem and Blue will find out that everything he�s lived for has been a lie.

Emelia

After a date with her boyfriend, police officer Ren, they head back to Ren�s house. It is there that they�re ambushed by Joker asking for the �Cube�. Ren is killed and Emelia is framed for his murder. She�s sent to prison in Despair, but while there, she discovers a way out. Her quest is to find Joker and kill him for murdering her boyfriend.

Lute

Lute�s father was killed by Mondo while he was a child so he grew up in Yorkland with his mother. After causing a world of trouble, his mother kicks him out and tells not to come back until he finds a job. He�s given a ride from Yorkland on Mondo�s ship, but is under the impression that Mondo�s a nice guy. After meeting up with Captain Hamilton in Owmi, Lute learns that Mondo isn�t the nice guy that he thought he was and that he�s the one that killed his father. His task is to launch an attack on Mondo with the help of Captain Hamilton.

Red

While driving home, Red and his dad get into a car accident after BlackX falls on the car. His father is killed, but Red is seriously injured. BlackX and Red get into a fight after Red swears to avenge is father. Just before Red is killed, he�s saved by a mysterious stranger. The stranger transforms Red into Alkaiser to save his life. Red vows to use his new powers to destroy BlackX.

Riki

He was sent from his dying home world of Margmel by the elder to seek out the remaining eight rings to save his world. It�s only with these rings; together with the Guardian ring the elder gave him that will restore Margmel. He transforms in to a human boy to find the remaining rings.

T260G

An alien creature abandons its damaged spacecraft. T260 is thrown from the spacecraft's explosion, and is badly damaged. It catches a glimpse of Time, a little boy, before it completely loses power. Time takes T260 to Uncle Octopus who revives T260. After making sure it is alright, T260 asks Uncle Octopus to do some additional repairs since it can't remember what its objectives are. T260G searches to find out what his goal is and where he came from.

Recruitable Characters

Here is a list of the following recruitable characters and where they can be found:

• Annie (Human): If you're playing as Emelia, you will meet her in Despair's prison and she will help you escape. If you're playing as any other characters, she will join you once you're on the quest for Rune magic.
• BJ&K (Mec): If you're playing as Red, he will join you in onboard the Cygnus. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
• Captain Hamilton (Human): If you're playing as Lute, she will join your quest at the restaurant in Owmi. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit her.
• Cotton (Monster): Playing as any character, go to the Bio Research Lab in Shrike and rescue it from the scientists. When you when, it will join you.
• Doll (Human): If you're playing as Red, you can find her at the port of Shingrow and she will join you after you talk to her.
• Dr. Nusakan (Mystic): If you're playing as Blue and you're on the quest for Rune magic, go down the alleyways in Koorong. Ask him about the Hide Rune and he will join your quest. If you're playing as Riki, fight the monster in the billionaire's house in Yorkland and Mei-Ling will send your team back to Koorong. Go into the alleyways and talk to Dr. Nusakan and he will join you. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
• EngineerCar (Mec): If you're playing as anyone but Asellus and Emelia, go to Nakajima Robotics in Shrike and talk to the Mec by the staircase. He will join you. If you're playing as Asellus or Emelia, you cannot recruit him.
• Fei-On (Human): If you're playing as anyone except Blue and are on the quest for Rune magic, after you get one Rune and attempt to go back to Koorong or leave Koorong. Your ship will be swallowed by Tanzer. Follow Fei-On and he will take you to his lair and join your party.
• Fuse (Human): Playing as any of the characters, you must be on the quest for Arcane magic. Go to IRPO and ask the receptionist about the Shield Card. You will go to a room and Fuse will tell you where to find the card and join your party.
• Gen (Human): If you're playing as anyone except Riki and T260G and you're on the quest for Arcane magic, attempt to go to Wakatu at Koorong and the port attendants will tell you that you need someone from there to guide you safetly. Talk to the skeleton walking around in Koorong and he will tell you where to find Gen. Go to Scrap and enter the pub. Talk to Gen and he will join you. If you're playing as Riki, he will join you once you talk to him at the pub in Scrap. If you're playing as T260G, he will join you as soon as you go to the pub in Scrap.
• Ildon (Mystic): If you're playing as Asellus, you can recruit him after you beat the Lion Princess. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
• Kylin (Monster): If you're playing as anyone other than Blue, you must already acquired the gifts for Rune or Arcane and Light or Shadow magic. Go to Devin and talk to Rei and she'll send you to Kylin's Paradise. Find your way through the maze and he will join you. If you're playing as Asellus, you must choose if you want Kylin or Rei, not both.
• Leonard Mac (Mec): If you're playing as T260G, go to the Shingrow Ruins and finish exploring them. Return to Leonard's lab in Manhattan and he'll join you. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannnot recruit him.
• Liza (Human): If you're playing as Blue and are on the quest for Rune magic, go to Mu's Tomb in Shrike and recruit Roufas. Go back to the restaurant in Koorong and she will join you. If you're playing as Emelia, she will join you on your quest to escape the prison. If you're playing as Red, talk to Annie in Koorong and she'll take you to Shuzer's base. Go in the base and leave. Go back to the restaurant in Koorong and she will join you. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit her.
• Mei-Ling (Human): If you're playing as Riki, she will join you early on. If you're playing as anyone other than Red or Asellus, you can find her at the Pub in Scrap. Talk to her and she will join you.
• Mesartham (Mystic): If you're playing as anyone other than T260G, go to the Lord's Manor in Owmi. Find your way to the bottom past the squid monster, talk to her, and she will join you (if you don't have Silence).
• PzkmW (Mec): If you're playing as T260G and you have Leonard, you can find him at the shop in the alleyways of Koorong. Talk to him and he will join you. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
• Rabbit (Mech): If you're playing as Red, you will find him at the garden in Kyo. Talk to him and he will join you. If you're playin gas anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
• Rei (Mystic): If you're playing as Asellus, talk to her at Devin's Shrine. Talk to her again once you beat the Dark Labyrinth. She will tell you she's Rei and she will join you. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit her.
• Roufas
(Human): If you're playing as Blue or Lute and are on the quest for Rune magic, talk to him at Mu's Tomb in Shrike and he will join you. If you're playing as Emelia, he will join you early on. If you're playing Red and you have Annie, go to the restaurant in Koorong and you can get him (only if you don't pick Liza).
• Rouge (Human): If you're playing as anyone other than Blue, Riki, or T260G, you can find him in Luminous or Devin. Talk to him and he will join you. If you're playing as Blue and you lose the battle between him and Blue, you will become Rouge.
• King Sei (Monster): Go to Sei's Tomb in Shrike and collect all three items. Place them on each of the three mantles and a secret room will open. Go in the room and you will be forced to fight King Sei. If you win, you get either his sword, the Kusangi, or you can recruit him.
• Silence (Mystic): If you're playing as anyone else other than Riki or T260G and you're on the quest for Shadow magic, talk to Silence's shadow in Omble. Once you get Shadow Magic, talk to him outside and he'll join you.
• Slime (Monster): If you're playing as anyone except Riki and you're on the quest for Rune magic, he will automatically join you after you defeat the slimes in Tanzer and get the Vitality run.
• Suzaku (Monster): Playing as any character and you're on the quest for Arcane magic, go to IRPO in search of the Shield Card. Fuse will lead you there. Beat the fairy monster and go to the next screen to fight the snowman. Beat him and go back to where Suzaku is and free him. He will join you.
• Time Lord (Mystic): If you're playing as anyone except Lute, Riki, or T260G and you have the gift of Light or Shadow magic and Rune or Arcane magic, go to Mosperiburg. Ring Lord Virgil will teleport you there. Touch the broken hourglass and go back to Virgil. He will teleport you to Facinaturu to get the Sand Vessel to fix the hourglass. Go back to Virgil and he will teleport you to the Time Lord's region. Talk to him and he will join you.
• Thunder (Monster): If you're playing as anyone other than Lute, go to Scrap and recruit Lute. Go to Yorkland and talk to Thunder and he'll join you. If you're playing as Lute, talk to Thunder outside of your house and he will join you.
• Turnip (Monster): If you're playing Asellus, he will join you when you talk to him in the Dark Labyrinth. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
• White Rose (Mystic): If you're playing as Asellus, she will join you early on. If you're playing as Emelia on your fourth mission in Trinity, she and Asellus will join you. If you're playing as Red, she and Asellus will join you when the Cygnus is attacked. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit her.
• ZEKE (Monster): If you're playing as T260G, go to Sei's Tomb and capture the robotical mouse. Bring it to Nakajima Robotics and they'll let ZEKE join you.
• Zozma (Mystic): If you're playing as Asellus, he will join you after you beat the Dark Labyrinth. If you're playing as Emelia and you have White Rose and Asellus in the Trinity Base, you'll find a soldier, but it's really him. Talk to him and he'll join you. If you're playing as anyone else, you cannot recruit him.
