A/N: The challenge was to write a 100-word drabble exploring a "What if?" theme. This one asks the reader to consider the consequences if James Potter had suffered a fit of absent-mindedness while moving his family to Godric's Hollow.

He came across it while sorting through a box of assorted belongings that had somehow been overlooked after the move to Godric's Hollow.
"Blast," he muttered, fingering the thin fabric with a rueful smile.
Lily came in, little Harry perched contentedly on her hip, and looked over his shoulder. "What is it, darling?"
"My Invisibility Cloak." James sighed. "I meant to leave it with Dumbledore, in case it's needed by the Order; but in all the confusion of moving I must have forgotten."
"Well, no harm done. The next time Peter stops by, you can ask him to take it."
