A/N: The challenge was to write a 100-word drabble exploring a "What if?" theme. This is what might have happened if Harry had said something intelligent after the Pensieve debacle in OotP.

"...been enjoying yourself, Potter?"
"N-no..." said Harry, trying to free his arm.
"Amusing man, your father, wasn't he?" said Snape, shaking Harry so hard that his glasses slipped down his nose.
"No, he was a complete PRAT!" Harry blurted, still stunned by what he had just seen.
Snape blinked, very like a man who has just been struck a heavy blow to the head. Slowly, he let Harry go, and stepped back...still furious, clearly, but no longer murderously so.
"Perhaps there is hope for you yet," he growled. "Get out...and do not let me see you again before tomorrow night."
