1-30-01 - In a rather sudden turn of events, Brendan is no longer a member of Laconic. His departure was in good will, and was based on creative differences; he wanted to go a different way with his carreer. We wish him all the best. He and Matt plan on starting another band with a much different sound soon.
1-31-02 - Due to Brendan's departure of Laconic, we are playing with John from Methyl Orange, and he will be with us till the Battle of the Bands at the Roseland. After that, he will again be involved with Methyl Orange and Warren and Gabe's new side project.
2-5-02 - After much thought and consideration, Matt has decided to leave Laconic to pursue other interests. He and Brendan are starting a new band, as are Gabe and Warren. And so, with that we say good bye. The site will remain. We'll still try to get a CD out. But there may never be another Laconic show again. Thanks to everyone who gave us their support. You guys rock.
6-21-03 - Well, a year and a half later, Laconic had a reunion. Gabe, Warren, and Matt played at Stephens Middle School last night. It was fun to play, though few people came. More shows may come up this summer. Who knows. |
