Normandy from 1135-1149. He died at the Chateau-de-Loir. His marriage dates

called "The Handsome". He had four natural children, Emma (that married the
Prince of No. Wales), Marie, and two boys. He also had a natural son,
Hamlyn, that is a descendant in another of our lines.

Maud was originally named Alice or Adelois but had her name changed by
her father. She was called Maud The Empress and Matilda of England. We have
several different dates of death, 30-Jan-1164/69. She was bethrothed to
Geoffrey Mar 3, 1127. She is buried at the Abbey of Bec, Normandy, France.
She was the widow of Emperor Henry V of Germany. Maud was Empress of Germany
through her first marriage.

Crusader and died about 30 Mar 1220/21/22 near Rome. He is descended from

Joan was known also as Joan of England, Princess of Wales. She is buried
in Beaumaris Church and is the natural daughter of King John and Agatha De
Fennersk. We have a second death date of 3 Mar 1236 and we know she was born
well before 1200.

William was the 3rd Earl of Warren. He was slain on Crusade near Laodicca and
his heart was brought back to England for burial in Lewes, England.

We find variations of Adela as Ela and Elva and De Alencon as a second
"last" name. In "Descent of William the Conqueror", she is given as Elva,
daughter of William, Earl of Tangiers. She was married first to William
De Warren and had an ancestor of ours in that line also. Patrick had also
been married before so this was a second marriage for both.

Gilbert. He was marshal to King Henry II. He was first married to a daughter
of Walter Pipard and had sons Gilbert and Walter. He divorced his first wife
and married Sibile of Salisbury.

Some resources state that Aubrey's second wife, Lucia, was the mother of our
descendant, Robert but most agree that Agnes of Essex was Robert's mother.
Lucia was the daughter of William de Abrincis.
