The music industry is wack! For your knowledge....every band you see on the second stage of Ozzfest paid $75,000 to Sharon to get there! That's doesn't mean they are good, that means they have money!

3 Colours Red
2003 could be the year that propells recently reformed 3 Colours Red back into the big time. With countless anthemic classics alreayd in their back catalogue, who would bet against them?
She's low on dust.......
tinyelvisWe recently caught up with Tiny Elvis bassist Liam, discussing everything from chaos in Germany to the "fine" exploits of Good Charlotte.

Labyrinth-Recording for your debut album is underway, how has it been going so far?
Liam-It's been going great, we still have a week or two left but everything is sounding better than ever, Steve Evans whose producing the album is the man and knows exactly what we are after sound wise.

Labyrinth-What can we expect from the album?
Liam-It's raw and fucking heavy!! There are a load of new songs on there which are gonna blow you away along with our anthems like Low on Dust and Altamont. Expect a dark, high energy piece of punk rock sonic terrorism!!

Labyrinth-Do you have any idea of release dates or plans for a coinciding tour?
Liam-We're looking at the first week of June at the moment and we'll be touring like mad in the UK and Europe to promote it.

Labyrinth-You recently played a couple of gigs in Germany. How do you feel they went?
Liam-Absolutely amazing one of the best gigs we've ever played the atmosphere was amazing and the turn out was mad, especially since we were unheard of, the crowd rushed the backstage area and dragged us on for an encore after we finished!!

Labyrinth-How exactly did the band form. Where did the name, Tiny Elvis come from?!
Liam-Rob, Ben and Myself started the band initially, we bumped into Jon drunk at a Trailer Park Trash gig and went from there, Adam our new second guitarist joined us in January as we felt we needed a fuller heavier stage presents. The name...erm not sure there's a ton of chat going around as to where it came from and what it means, we leave that one to everyones interpretation.

Labyrinth-It is understood that you made sacrifices at the expense of furthering the band.
Liam-We all quit our jobs, went pro-broke and put our all in, I'm not sure dropping out of everyday life to be in a band is a sacrifice, dropping out of a band for everyday life would be though. Quit your job!!

Labyrinth-What does the music mean to you?Why do you do it?
Liam-I love playing music we all do, it's a vent of energy and creativity and it feels right that this is what I'm doing. We do it cause we love it and we're fucking good at it!!

Labyrinth-You are reknowned for relentless touring, but have their been any standout/favourite gigs to date?
Liam-We enjoy all the gigs we do but yes some stand out over others, like I said above Germany would be up there in my favourites it's always good to play at home in Bath too cause all our friends are out and the gigs kick ass.

Labyrinth-Are their any bands you'd love to share the stage with one day?
Liam-I hear Poison Idea are on the road again, this band rock everyone should check these guys out!! They are a big TE influence I think we're planning to just turn upto one of there gigs somewhere and demand to play!!

Labyrinth-Whats your stance on bands such as New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, carrying punk labels, breaking through into the mainstream?Do you dig their stuff?
Liam-There's a place for all music somewhere. I'm not an authority on what is and isn't punk, whose sold out or not etc etc and to be honest I don't really care. I don't dig these bands at all, hopefully kids will listen to this and then work their way back to where it came from like The Descendents and Ramones etc. These bands haven't broken into the mainstream cause they have never been anything but plus there music is weak.

Labyrinth-What are your views regarding the "war on terrorism"?
Liam-My views are my own next question.

Labyrinth-Do you have plans for world domination?
Liam-Absolutely and unconditionally.

Labyrinth-Finally, sum up to the unlucky folk that have yet to witness the Tiny Elvis experience.
Liam-Get to a gig now, our music will make you a better person.
