If you read Reptiles or have past issues of Reptile and Amphibian Hobbyist (since they are no longer in print), you will find some of my articles in those publications also.

Regarding greyhounds, these are great dogs in dire need of rescue. They have been used and abused at the tracks (at least a large number of them fall into this category - of course, there are always exceptions). But, until you see the conditions under which so many are kept while they are racing, or witness the shape they are in when the adoption agencies receive their shipment, you might not realize how these animals were treated. But, seeing their scars, their bald thighs from them rubbing off their hair from being crated in horrid conditions most of the day, and seeing how they are often covered with parasites, will soon make it evident that these dogs were not being cared for properly. If you have a chance, click on the link to the NJ GAP (Greyhound Adoption Program) and get some more detailed information. Or just surf for any greyhound adoption site, and you will soon discover how these poor creatures were mistreated. So, if you are ever thinking of adopting a great house pet, maybe you can take a minute and contact a greyhound rescue in your area to see if you would like to become the parent/s of a retired racer.
Regarding cars, we now have a "new" MINI Cooper S in electric blue (this is actually a photo of my youngest daughter's MINI,
a Caravan (us on the inside)
a 1988 Camaro IROC Z (origianl owner with only 16,000 miles),
a 1974 VW bus,
and a frame off restored 1964 Triumph TR4.
All these cars are either all original or restored. Of course, we also have a "mini van," which gets all the mileage. We are adding links to additional information about each of our vehicles so you can not only view them (and find out more about each), but these pages will have external links to websites associated with each make of car.
All of the cars above have either been featured in magazines or have won trophies at various car shows. Again, if you have time why not just stop by and visit our pages.
