A history of the Guild...
Our man (here after known as "The Instigator") made the right choice. The Instigator decided to get back to some of the things that made him happy, to draw and write for someone other than The Man. To do so he dialed up, logged in and recruited the help of an old friend. That friend heeded the call, and linked it to the absurd (and temporarily forgotten) idea of another friend (here after known as "The Catalyst") to begin a collaborative writing experiment. Since both he and the Catalyst had been feeling much the same frustration as the Instigator, and since he was feeling keenly the loss of close friends that comes with "growing up" and "moving on", this man (here after known as "The Simple Solution") proposed that the three embark on a new literary enterprise. Quickly joining them (and adding much encouragement) was the man who would soon be known as "The Time Reaction." Also invited, but deferring for the time being, was the man dubbed "The Indicator." Before long their first exercise in writing was well underway, and all involved were pleased. The results are here for you to judge for yourself. Their guild is growing, having a assimilated a blood-kin of the Time Reaction (who has not yet chosen or seized a title of his own) and may soon include more... Everyone is in such a damned hurry to grow up, and quick to realize they should've just stayed young in the first place. You leave school-friends behind, your parents no longer foot the bill, and all-to-often you discover that you've landed a job that (no matter how much you like it) seems to occupy more and more of your precious time. You can only pound keys, click mice, and shuffle papers for so long before your ego begins to bleed. This is the point at which our one man found himself. He had one of two choices to make...
