. PortTown - Reaching Out .

Special Delivery
Now is the part that starts with the registrated version. Right now, you should be strong enough to travel further. Go to the Red Dragon Inn in GreenTree. Talk to the bartender. Earlier on, he might've ignored you if you are still at Level 1. Now, conduct business with him. In all major cities with lodging, someone in town is a cornerstone to an underground delivery system. The bartender is GreenTree's. The amount it pays is random, according to your Quest Points. If you ever forget who sent it, or where it was meant to be delivered, you can check the given item in your inventory.  For now, only take a Quest from him to PortTown. Now leave the city, and travel five kilometers north to [PortTown Gate]. Get in and go straight to the House `O Fish. You'll have to conduct business to Smithy to get paid. It'll also give you +1 Quest Point. If the delivery was made within the same day, you'll get an extra, such as a gem (to be traded only at the Red Dragon Inn by the bartender), or a random stat raise. You have a limited amount of Quest opportunity per day, regardless of where you are, which is determined by the Sysop. If you have some left, you can check if Smithy has something for the bartender in GreenTree.

Something's Fishy
While you're in the House `O Fish, you might as well buy a Fishing Rod. There are a couple of spots where you may fish. Regardless of where you fish and how much time you spend at each places, you have a predetermined amount of fish that can be caught, randomly calculated at the beginning of each new day. The closest place to start fishing is two kilometers south from PortTown, at the [Fishing dock]. Go to the end of the dock, you'll be ask if you want to fish. If you are actually wandering, you've got one hell of a problem. OF COURSE YOU WANT TO. Casting close or far doesn't change glitch. Neither does not catching anything on that cast. You'll sometime get a bite and reel a Salmon. They are worth $50 at the House `O Fish (though worth $100 if you buy them), or you may keep'em for healing. If you're lucky, you'll get a bite from a large fish. If this happens, their are chances the line breaks. If that happens, your Fishing Rod is intact, and you may retry. If you reel it in, it'll be a Sparkling Green Salmon. Those are worth $250 when you sell em to the House `O Fish. Note that you may not sell fish elsewhere, including pawn shops.

These Are Sand Times
Ok, you must now manage to get $5500 saved up. Once you do, get a Pirate Hook and a Skull Helmet from Ye ol Mart in PortTown. Once you've got them, get out of the city. Travel three kilometers west along the [Jagged Beach]. Starting that third screen and further, you'll fight thougher enemies than before, so make sure you're strong enough. From that point, travel two kilometers south to the [Forest gateway]. Go along the edge to the river, you should find water you can walk on at the tip, and be able to walk up the waterfall. On top, you'll find a Moonstone. Travel back to the [Jagged Beach], and train until even the Giant Scorpions can't hurt you anymore. This is a more frequantly used area for training and passerby, so don't go too far, and get healed at PortTown as soon as you need it. If you end up under 400 turns left, consider leaving at going to the Sea Hag's Hotel in PortTown. If you're a horny motherfucker, you may always keep some money to get a whole for $25. But don't forget there's a chance out of five of getting infected by VD (which stand for Vitual Disease, you moron).

Random Events
In most of the world areas where you may have encounters, you have random events too. One of which is a Dragon Tooth Clan battalion. In such a case, you may hide, listen to them or ignore them, but don't, under any circomstances, insult them. It's a whole battalion with a leading officer, they'll kick your ass. Their use is that you may travel with them to their island, if your evil enough. That'll be useful later on, after you've won the game as a good guy. There is also two Dragon Tooth Clan warriors raping a girl. The choice is obvious here: join them and losing alignment while getting laid, or kill them to make XP and cash and gain alignment. You may also come across an injured person which you may help out to gain alignment or kill to lose some and gain a bit of money. Then there are traveling folks who will heal you if you spend a bit of time with them. Also, there is a dark robed priest who will sell traveling potions for $500 which when taking it, will warp you to a random place in the known world.

The SkyStaff
Another possible random encounter is a hooded figure, seeling parts of what he calls a SkyStaff. There are four parts to it: the bottom, middle, top and gemstone. When you encounter him, he will offer you a random part for $100. The part he has to offer is regardless of the parts you already have. Remember by heart the part you already have, for buying a double of a part you have won't help, will waste your money, and you'll be stuck with it unless you find another player who wants it. It may take time to get all four different pieces. If you run across him with the right part, but you don't have the cash, you're the sucker, 'cause he won't give you a raincheck, you'll have to keep your fingers crossed for next time. Once you do, you may assemble the SkyStaff in your items, and you'll be warped to [Cloud City], where a nude slut (aka a female Koshi) with wings awaits you. You fucking pervert, you selected "Look at her", haven't you? You'll only see her face. Steal the Cloud Sword from the table and get her to warp you back to a proprer point of the game, wherever you were at when you finally got all the pieces. Note that assembling it a second time won't give you a second Cloud Sword.

What's Next?
Now, you'll have to be patient. This is one of the boring part of the game. To continue on and be/stay the strongest, you'll have to train in the desert, until you've accumulated a whopping $40000. You see, that's the price of a major domain you just gotta have. Keep fighting, raising level, doing deliveries, fishing, and raising alignment through randem events until you manage to get all the cash togetter. Now get to PortTown or GreenTree, and conduct business for the direction of FlagCity. Once you do, don't take the boat there, it'll be more profitable for your XP and your wallet to walk your way there. When you're ready, walk through the desert along the [Desert River] in the southern part of it all the way to the end.
